Ahmadinejad launches his very own blog!

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has joined a burgeoning international community - by starting his own weblog!

The launch of www.ahmadinejad.ir was reported on state TV, which urged users to send in messages to the president.

Ahmadinejad's first posting, entitled autobiography, tells of his childhood, Iran's Islamic revolution, and the country's war with Iraq.

The blog includes a poll asking users whether they think the US and Israel are trying to trigger a new world war.

There is a postform for users to send in questions for the president, and a picture gallery containing a series of images of the blogger himself.

Since coming to power, Ahmadinejad's government has used one of the most sophisticated internet censorship systems in the world to crack down on anti-government bloggers.

Perhaps the Alliance can take up Mr Ahmadinejad's offer and send him a message or two…

You gotta give Ohmydumbjihad this, he knows how to work us. He plays us like a violin. Or should I say, a sitar?

I must admit I had a bit of a giggle when I came across it myself. Oh, and he promises to cut down on his long speeches, he says time management's something he needs to work on. To gain practice, he promises to start with his weblog...he'll allocate no more that 15mins to each of his posts.

Does U.S have enough power to stop this madness? who knows?!
