British Firebrand Islamic Academic Celebrates Suicide Bombers

It's always nice to know that the Netherlands isn't the European country with the largest extremist problem. France has serious issues, Germany isn't exactly free from extremists, but the leader of the pack most certainly, is Britain. On a regular basis we hear about 'British' Muslims who celebrate suicide bombings, support Hizbullah and Hamas, call for a jihad in Britain, call to install sharia law by force, etc. Now, Dr Azzam Tamimi - a well known Muslim radical - once again celebrated suicide bombings, martyrdom and the need to fight against the British and US government.

Tamimi is well-known for saying that - if the opportunity arises - he would be more than willing to carry out a suicide attack in Israel.

Tamimi was born in Palestine, moved to Britain and became a citizen of it. Ironically enough, he's a prominent member of the Stop The War coalition. With 'stop the war' he presumably doesn't mean the jihad against Israel nor the attacks against the West. With 'stop the war' this he simply means that the West and Israel should stop defending themselves against terrorism. 'Stop The War' simply means 'Stop Fighting Back'.
