I have nothing to add relating to this disgrace. Crossposted at The Dougout.Irvine, CA--"By pressuring Israel to accept the U.N.'s cease-fire agreement, the Bush administration is betraying Israel--and America," said Dr. Yaron Brook, executive director of the Ayn Rand Institute.
"In the wake of a plot to kill thousands of westerners, our administration is doing nothing more than having Americans throw out their toothpaste and shampoo. Meanwhile, our leaders are forcing the one country that is actually taking serious action against Islamic totalitarianism to back down. We should be helping Israel to destroy Hezbollah, not urging it to hold back.
"This moral travesty is a betrayal of Bush's so-called war on terror."
All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.

The Bush administration is betraying people everywhere who stand for freedom by their support of this disgrace.
When and where will we in the West make a stand?
The State Department delayed arms shipments to Israel even as Israel is fighting.
Yet no word from Bush about this, no strong public statement in support of Israel and no public acknowledgement that America would supply the arms necessary.
I don't give a damn what's going on "behind the scenes'--at least half this war is reliant on public perceptions and the West needs a strong leader unafraid to call a spade a spade.
The loss of support for Bush has more to do with the lack of clear, articulated positions from the White House than anything else, I suspect.
Don't forget Condi Rice. She also sold out.
