Just when you think the loopy Left can’t get any loopier, then this.
Harvard's JFK School of government lecturer Jessica Stern published her first article about 'Jihad as Global fad' in the Globe and Mail on June 12th 2006.
According to this 'security and counter terrorism expert' (who had been employed by a US government security agency to plan strategies to prevent Russian nuclear smuggling), Jihadi's are the opposite of peaceniks 'because they make war not love' and Jihad is simply a young Muslim's ' flight of fancy'.”
This earned her a well deserved place on Dr. Daniel Pipes's weblog "Idiot's File"
Moonbat Stern goes on to say:
“Jihad is a millenarian movement with mass appeal, similar, in many ways, to earlier global movements such as the anarchists of the 19th century or even the peace movement of the 1960s and '70s. But today's radical youth are expressing their dissatisfaction with the status quo by making war, not love…..How can we reduce the spread of the jihadi idea? Part of the solution must come from the Arab and Muslim worlds. Muslim youth around the world need more heroes — leaders as charismatic as bin Laden.”
Militant Islam Monitor speculates:
“Apparently Harvard and the Kennedy School of government must have to adhere to 'affirmative action' quotas not only when it comes to Saudi students but vis a vis the intellectually challenged and certifiably brain dead.”
Couldn’t have said it better.
