Blaming Violence on The Pope

Madeline Bunting, the infamous mainstream moonbat who often does opinion pieces for the Guardian has a piece up at Comment is Free, on how due to the foolish Pope, an elderly Catholic nun was shot dead.

a more disturbing possibility: namely, that the Catholic church could be failing - yet again - to deal with the challenge of modernity. In the 19th and 20th centuries, it struggled to adapt to an increasingly educated and questioning faithful, now in the 21st century, it's in danger of failing the great challenge of how we forge new ways of accommodating difference in a crowded, mobile world. The Catholic church has to make a dramatic break with its triumphalist, bigoted past if it is to contribute in any constructive way to chart this new course.

Yes you heard that right, the Catholic church is failing to deal with modernity.

The irony of it all is completely lost on Madeline Bunting.

Well, the challenge of modernity must be learning to be perfect dhimmis, and to ignore the fact that our civilization is on fire.
