LA Times Publishes OP-ED By Secretary Of Defense Rumsfeld

The LA Times published an OP-ED by US Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld today. In it, Rumsfeld explains his views and explains what he meant with his speech at the annual conventions of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion in which he mentioned 'appeasement'.

As might be obvious for those who read my own blog and The Moderate Voice, I agreed with most Rumsfeld said - at least with his general message that Muslim extremism is a serious threat, should be considered as such and that appeasement in any way, shape or form is not an option. One does not negotiate with extremists who are willing to die themselves, as long as 'infidels' die as well.
