The "Alternative Christmas Message"

When a news story involves a level of controversy, often the reporters will choose to air the opinions of two experts on the subject who have opposing views. In theory, this is done so we can have a broader understanding of the story, in order to make up our own minds as to what we believe is right.

Channel 4 Network in Britain has, apparently, decided that there is something controversial about Christmas, so they have determined to air a "alternative Christmas message" which will be delivered by a Muslim woman in a full burqa.

Winterval is indeed very controversial in Britanistan:

It is indeed, and it is good that the True Spirit Of Christmas has been restored, this time by Channel 4.

After all, Jesus wasn't the messiah; he was a muslim prophet and Christmas is the traditional celebration of his birth, so it's entirely fitting that a muslim read out this message.

Not so sure about a woman doing it though; I heard she was going to be wearing a nikab, not a burqa - the sight of a woman's naked eyes on national TV might arouse the uncontrollable sexual passions of the nation's males and provoke them to go out and rape the first female they see.

*sarcasm mode OFF*
