The satellite image here, taken over china shows what looks like a Nimitz class aircraft carrier. So far our intelligence has told us the chinese have only purchased russian built carriers, which they can no longer afford to operate (and which, btw, one might wonder WHY they are needed since the USA has about as much ability to conquer China as Israel does..not to mention desire)
Of course, humans on the ground can, if they can get close enough, or into the facilities, give us a much better idea of what's going on.
