That's a good point. In that sense, Channel 4 is doing us all a favor. Do you think they meant it that way? Perhaps.

I'm confused ... UK muslims routinely celebrate Christian holidays?
I'm sure she will talk about the "prophet" Jesus.
But really this is not the state of union address. Why must there be an "alternative view" of a holiday that muslims don't even believe in!
I guess because we have to question all of our foundational beliefs, or the media demons will not be happy.
I agree, this is a good news. The West's patience, however endless it may seem, does have its limits, so, news like that will only shorten the "countdown".

anonymous was me, sorry, not intentional i tried to update but blogger is really temperamental and so i lost my comment. I am irritated that C4 whose ratings for this tiny little show ( a comedy normally, so ...is this a joke?) are rock bottom ...but they are using what is a deep issue for many women outside of the UK and some within to boost their notoriety on stupid issues. They are mostly a leftist media but pushing the fundamentalist envelope - it will really piss people off here. I do however have a GREAT idea about this and need your help! whats yr email? (Also i am logged into to post here...i will do ('jonz' @ 'drunken blogging' signed me up)...and finally yes please do stick that guy in as i-babe ;)
