More Arabs want nuclear power

The news this morning are comforting. Check out "Gulf Arabs states want nuclear power" from CNN:
Gulf Arab countries want to acquire nuclear energy capability and have ordered a study on a possible joint atomic program, a statement read on Sunday at the close of a two-day Gulf Cooperation Council summit said.

"The countries of the region have the right to nuclear energy technology for peaceful purposes," said Abdul-Rahman al-Attiya, secretary-general of the Gulf Cooperation Council.

We of course understand entirely. Nuclear power is just so appropiate for net importers of oil. It makes economic sense.

What an exiting world we can look forward to in a few years.

Nuclear weapons should be mandatory for all nations in the middle east. The USA should provide them free.

The sooner they commence blowing the shit out of each other the better.

In a month the Al Saud and the Iranians would go from nuke each others proxies in Iraq, to hitting each other's cities ..and Mecca would find no pity in Qom.

Epaminondas,

A dessert of glas would solve the sand storm problem.

Maybe this is the strategy to follow after all. Instead of promoting peace let us promote strife.

What could a donation of few hundred billion dollars to the Shiite militia and smaller amounts to some of the more obscure sects not accomplish?

In Palestine it would not take much to start a civilian war. They don't care much what they kill - it is the killing itself that is the attraction.

When we get sufficiently angered in the West it might even happen.
