For the information of ignorant Americans, the only opposition to Islam in Europe is Nationalism (unlike Americans, Europeans have a national identity, and one that we believe is worth fighting for).
The notion of 'Britishness' - or other nationalistic traits - may escape you 'melting-pot mongrels' but Europeans have a heritage and history worthy of being passed onto our children.
