All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.

Ah, To Be Young And Alive In Paris - Paris Riots 2007, Night 2
From GalliaWatch:
Sixty-four policemen were injured, five seriously (by a high caliber bullet), 63 vehicles were torched and 5 buildings destroyed.
These are the official figures from this night of rioting that affected the communes of Villiers-le-Bel, Sarcelles, Garges-lès-Gonesse, Cergy, Ermont and Goussainville. (Note: these communes are in Val-d'Oise, north of Paris.) Essonne (south of Paris) was also afflicted: a bus and a truck destroyed. What they don't talk about is the deterioration and destruction of municipal property... and everything that will have to be repaired with taxpayers' money....
But, should we continue to speak of riots when 64 policemen are disabled in one night alone?
Should we continue to speak of riots when weapons are taken out and used against representatives of the State and 160 riot police are forced to back off from armed and organized gangs?
One Salon Beige reader weighs in:
Unfortunately it will take a few deaths of policemen for our cowardly government to react and to grant them the means to reestablish order. And even then it won't be enough. What is a policeman's life worth today, compared to that of a "young person"? This is only the foreshadowing of the civil war that is coming. The gangrene in the ghettoes will be there for a long time. France pay dearly for decades of cowardice and incompetence.
And, an interesting quote from commenter Karmic Inquisitor at Little Green Footballs:
... the French are VERY nationalistic and expect the "etranger" (foreigner) to adapt to the French way in every detail. This is one reason why antisemitism has fertile ground there - many view Jews as intrinsically not French. French chauvinism is so entrenched that they have a common way of saying "that is not normal" by saying "c'est pas Catholique" (that's not Catholic).
In other words, the French are in no way multiculturalists.
Contrast that with the English, who have this bizzare post-colonial guilt that drives it to adopt cultural suicide policies. The English are so deeply committed to multiculturalism that they have incidents like channel 4 news producers being investigated by the police for reporting on Islamists who say they want to destroy and subjugate the UK.
The rub is that neither approach is working - a significant portion of Muslims in both countries despise the government that made them citizens.

It is amazing to me that I don't see one peep about this in the msm, including on FNC.
Maybe I missed the coverage?
I don't watch the news, so I wouldn't know.
I do notice that this riot seems to be starting off far more violently than previous riots.
It will be interesting to see how Sarkozy responds.
Bring on the Intifada, I say. Once Paris is burning and policemen are being killed perhaps reality will finally percolate into the dimwitted heads of the left. And the lying, dhimmified media.
If that's what it takes, then so be it.
KG,
It does seem that the more time that passes, the worse things get for us.
