March 2, 2008 -- In the year since he lost five of his children in a Bronx blaze, Moussa Magassa has found solace in tiny miracles - babies born one day apart to two of his wives.Go to this link and see the captions under the slide show.
Ten months after the March 7 fire, Magassa, 46, became a proud papa to two boys and a girl. One son was born to his wife Manthia on Jan. 4 at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center. The next day, wife Aisse gave birth to twins at the same hospital.
"Whatever God gives me, I'll take it," said Moussa Magassa, who practices polygamy, a common tradition in his home country, Mali. "I love children. It's great to have them."
One of the newborn twins, a girl, died suddenly last month, leaving him with nine children from his three wives.

Magassa's latest architectural plans have been approved, but he is counting on good Samaritans to help with construction.
"The insurance money is there. It's not enough. This is going to cost $500,000 to rebuild," said Magassa, who is paying rent on three Bronx apartments to house his large family....
Muslim polygamy is now openly tolerated in NYC? And this story is not making the national news? Of course, the LDS story about polygamy in Texas HAS BEEN on the national news for the past several days--because the Texas story does not involve Muslims.

I guess you guys don't like Islam much. I can't blame you. After all, Islam requires its followers to use their brains. No Muslim authority insisted that the earth was flat and burned people at the stake if they refused to believe this. God in Islam doesn't beget kids, nor does God die on a cross. What sort of fucked-up God would kill himself and/or his own son? What sort of weak miserable God needs blood to be shed as a precondition for forgiveness?
Your New Testament is written in Greek. Jesus spoke Aramaic. He never spoke Greek. So you will never know exactly what he said.
Your doctrines were all developed hundreds of years after Christ's death. Where do we find the Trinity in the Old or New Testaments? It's nowhere.

I think the pictures say a lot without the captions, AOW. The women don't look too happy....at least they don't look as happy as Moussa. As for the 'american' and his critique of the New Testament being in Greek.. the only reason we understand the ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs and other quite dead languages. Greek and Hebrew are quite alive and in spite of the fact that we don't speak either, they wield great influence over English in its history.
