If it's so damn critical to your survival and jobs...RESTRUCTURE then get your money

But you can't can you?
And in your miserable heart of hearts you know if you can get the Harry Reid bot saying this:

"While we take no satisfaction in loaning taxpayer money to these companies, we know it must be done."
You believe that in the end you'll get your money, get your way, keep your life and lifestyles, keep a couple of the Lears or G IV's and hope that SOMEHOW it will all straighten out on the backs of those who will try at all hazards to create success out the swimming thru oatmeal that success in the United States has become.

This used to be a hell of a country.

We no longer celebrate the fiscal rewards of invention of THINGS. Today our capitalist heroes are T Boone Pickens and Warren Buffett, and even Soros who use money as a commodity to leverage more money.

Where is the inventor of a motor that can carry us out this (Ayn Rand anyone)?
Where is the inventor of matierals leading to efficient photovoltaic cells?
Fuel cells?
Batteries?

We are awash in a a sea of so called leaders who know how to GET money, not MAKE IT. We see those in leadership positions whose greed carry their demands to multiples of hundreds of the salaries of most of their employees and then face the Robin Hood socialist demands they give it all up for $1.

Is there anyone at all who has a clue?

If the auto corporations were so desperate for the money, they'd have eschewed the planes when it counted, and shown up THIS time in the midst of sweeping, irreversible reorganization, and management pressure on unions to do the same.

That they have NOT done so is abundant evidence that it is not within our power as a society to fix them.

The auto corporate management, the union management all must be swept away by the power of a judge. SWEPT AWAY.

Don't give them a cent.

Chapter 11 now.

No one said free enterprise, and freedom itself is without risk.

We all have to undergo the unpleasant trial, of nerves and emotions. Part of that trial is the lack of confidence we show every time we fail to have confidence in ourselves and cave in to another pleading bail out by selfish uncaring demands of 'emergency'

Show confidence in america and americans.

Start TODAY

Shut them off. ALL OF THEM.

We've lost the concept of hero in this country. Someone who stands up for right no matter what. Stands when he knows he will very be destroyed. Who admits he screwed up and it's on him to fix it.

Guys like Daniel Boone, Ben Franklin, Jefferson, the Adams boys, Lincoln. My grandfather and father.

We don't teach our kids correctly about these types of people anymore. We have to point out every flaw and ram that part home harder than greater achievements. Or worse. They're a footnote in textbooks. No more history now it's social sciences. And so our heroes are gangsta rappers, guys who shoot themselves in the foot in a nightclub, train dogs to fight, basketball players hopped up on coke, baseball players pumped up on 'roids. Rock stars (easy, folks, I love rock). American Idols (not so much).

And what social sciences teaches these kids is the government is there to serve us. Bullshit. The goverment is there to protect us. Not bail our lazy or incompetant asses out. The role of gov't is to protect the nation.

And so it goes to the numbnuts running these corporations and banks. It's not that they want it it's that they feel it's theirs by entitlement, simply because this is America. No more responsibility for their mistakes. Uncle Sam will take care of us. They don't give a shit about anything but themselves.

We've lost the concept of hero. If we can find it again maybe we can find a way to stop this lunacy, call these numbnuts out for the frauds cheats and charlatans they are. And maybe find the backbone to fight and win this war to boot.

Our fathers and grandfathers had heroes. And they stood tall when victory was a dicey proposition at best. Yet they persevered and prevailed and made America the greatest nation history has ever known.

Now the numbnuts want to pawn it away.

I wonder who their heroes growing up were?
