The Kellogg-Briand Pact, also known as the Pact of Paris or Paris Peace Pact.[1], after the city where it was signed on August 27, 1928, was an international treaty "providing for the renunciation of war as an instrument of national policy."
Signed on August 27, 1928 by the representatives from: Australia, Belgium, Canada, Czechoslovakia, France, Germany, India, the Irish Free State, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Poland, South Africa, the United Kingdom and the United States. It was proclaimed to go into effect on July 24, 1929. By that date, the following nations had deposited instruments of definitive adherence to the pact: Afghanistan, Albania, Bulgaria, China, Cuba, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Estonia, Ethiopia, Finland, Guatemala, Hungary, Iceland, Latvia, Liberia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Nicaragua, Norway, Panama, Peru, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Kingdom of the Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes, Siam, Spain, Sweden, Argentina, and Turkey. Sixty-three nations ultimately signed the pact.

In a debate last year, a Brookings Institution wonk by, I believe, the name of Cross, who had served under Clinton, said he would IN A SECOND, trade Russian cooperation on Iran for doing away with missile defense in Europe (causing loud snickers on the boat, even from the trusting, such as Mrs. Epa .. the fish even deserted us after that). When asked what that meant, he had no answer

MOSCOW, today:
Washington has told Moscow that Russian help in resolving Iran's nuclear program would make its missile shield plans for Europe unnecessary, a Russian daily said on Monday, citing White House sources.

U.S. President Barack Obama made the proposal on Iran in a letter to his Russian counterpart, Dmitry Medvedev, Kommersant said, referring to unidentified U.S. officials.

Moscow has not yet responded to the proposal by Obama, the paper said

We hate to tell the Obama bambis so helplessly lost in this forest, but there is no way short of force which will EVER stop the Iranian regime from attaining nuclear weapons. LAW OF NATURE. They have made up their minds, as Pakistan's leader at the time, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto said to 'eat grass' if they have to in order to attain this. They will lie, cheat, steal, break agreements, bully nations and peoples, act as friends to others in order to achieve what they believe will allow them to both make safe the Islamic Revolution from us, and to kill the jews, a sacred, perhaps apocalytptic task which every leader has adhered to as a mission. PUBLICLY.

Therefore only the Russian Army can be the cooperation which will make it worth it to end plans for the missile defense of Europe (and therefore us)

That's not going to happen.

Obama believes that the Russians can use some ingenious diplomatic method and pressure to stop Iran.

The Russians will gladly agree, and Iran may even sign something. It is in the Russian interest for Iran to have nukes. It make problems for us. Especially as Korean aided Iranian missile development rushes ahead. Especially as they buy more Kilo subs (from Russia). Problems for us are good for Russia, EVEN IF that means a nuke in Tel Aviv, or one in the USA. That is how they see it.

Obama places his faith in the security of the American people and our allies in PAPER.

In foreign affairs Obama is literally a FOOL. It's incredible

Envision a middle east without Mullahs.

The security of the American people may yet turn out to be best served by Bibi Netanyahu. Even with gas at $10/gallon for a awhile.

Kellogg Briand?

War. Deaths in the millions..ten of millions in an hour or worse. All from foolish ideals and moral cowardice, and the easy way out for the purpose of garnering votes?
Stanley Baldwin's ideas never lost an election.
We are in real trouble.

MEDVEDEV GETS THE MULLAHS- UPDATE: Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said Tuesday that it was "not productive" to link talks over a US missile defense system in Europe with Iran's suspected nuclear program as proposed by Washington.

He just threw our Czech and Polish allies under the bus, Obama style.

The interloping charlatan has NO shame...

Just like Hildog (the Yankee fan) has thrown the Israel under the bus since she doesn't have to run for re-election in her "home" state.

Hey I'm a yankee fan.

Hillary is a fan of the mirror only. But she is NOT the shrewdest of them all.
