Personal Computers Could Be Open to Government Access Under New Obama Copyright Plan

More sliding on the Slippery Slope

Personal Computers Could Be Open to Government Access Under New Obama Copyright Plan
The Obama Administration is currently negotiating the ACTA Agreement with several international partners.

The proposed agreement would empower security officials at airports and other international borders to conduct random ex officio searches of laptops, MP3 players, and cellular phones for illegally downloaded or "ripped" music and movies.

Russia Today warned about this controversial agreement:

Who would have ever thought we'd see the day when a Russian prime minister would be warning our government about the evils of socialism and the Russian media would be warning Americans about losing privacy rights?

Snooping and Tyranny are not limited to Socialist regimes. In fact, it is the U.S. government that has twisted European arms to limit privacy and spy on their citizens. (Don't turn over details of your citizens and airline passengers? You won't fly to the USA and will suffer trade embargoes.)

Let's stop pointing fingers..learn a bit of our own [very recent] history, and try to piece the US Constitution together again. Our "great allies" are not, as our Presidents have lied..China and the Arabs.
