All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.
Hate me for giving everyone a different opinion, but what did he say that was wrong. Do not Christians believe that the church is where people are taught to be ever vigilant against the devil and his temptations? Did he not sound like an excited priest on the pulpit? Jihad is 'struggle' against evil, either physical struggle (aggression against oppression), or spiritual (Temptation, Unjustness). If you change the word 'Jihad' to 'struggle', and 'Allah' for 'God', then I am sure no one person would have a problem with these statements. If you took a Arabic speaking Muslim down, and put a White Catholic up then I am sure no one would have a problem.
Take it from me........ As a former Marine, and one who joined because of 9-11, I understand your points of view, but I also choose to learn and understand rather than quickly attack and debase. If Muslims are your enemy then it is your duty to understand them. It is not your duty to have blind hate. Blind hate leads to unjustness, and Christians, Muslims, Jews, and Humanists all believe this to be the worst of transgressions.
