Filmmakers weigh in on Toronto Israel flap

ENTER (YOUR DOCUMENTARY) INTO NEXT YEAR'S TORONTO FILM FESTIVAL ... POSTHUMOUSLY ...

LOL funny.

From BabbaZee:

TORONTO -- Now it's getting personal. Canadian filmmaker John Greyson's decision to pull his short film from the Toronto International Film Festival has provoked a growing feud among Canadian filmmakers.

Veteran Canadian documentary maker Simcha Jacobovici, who was born in Israel, said Greyson should test his sympathy for the Palestinians by screening his short film about the 2008 Sarajevo Queer Festival in Tel Aviv and on the West Bank. "He will be invited to screen the film at the local (Tel Aviv) cinematheque. He can then walk around with the same sign down the streets of Palestinian Ramallah. He should document the experience on video and then enter it into next year's TIFF -- posthumously," Jacobovici said.
Go read the whole thing over at Babba's.

Yeah, Babba's completely out of her own mind. It's as if she is possessed by some other spirit, some Floatin' Power.

Well, that woman seems to be kinda freaky. Who is she anyway? As for TIFF protest, I don't think it was a good idea.
