Pakistan: Taliban Send Letters to Christian Institutions Warning Them to Convert to Islam and pay Jizya or They'll be Killed and Their Women Turned Into Sex Slaves....

Washington -- International Christian Concern (ICC) has learned that on October 6, members of the Taliban sent threatening letters in Sargodha, Pakistan warning Christian leaders to convert to Islam or face dire consequences.

A copy of the letter obtained by ICC warns Christians to convert to Islam, pay Jizya tax (an Islamic tax imposed on religious minorities) or leave the country. If Christians refuse to accept the choices given to them, the letter explains that they "would be killed, their property and homes would be burnt to ashes and their women would be treated as sex slaves. And they themselves would be responsible for this."

Rev. Zaheer Khan, pastor of Maghoo Memorial Church, Rev. Aamir Azeem, pastor of United Christians Church and Rev. Zafar Akhter, pastor of United Presbyterian Church each received a copy of threatening letter.

The Islamists sent the letters to the following Christian institutions: St Peter's Middle School, Sargodha Institute of Technology, Sargodha Catholic High School, St John's Primary School and Fatima Hospital.

You Hoo!!!!-Christian leaders of the West --Where are you? Are you speaking against this?...
Silence..
Our sisters and bothers in Christ have been persecuted for a VERY long time by Islam-in the mid-east---
I guess we grass-root Christians are going to have to coalesce and fight this ourselves---
Man!!-We are going to have to 'battle' on many fronts...I hope we're ready.....

This has been happening in Iraq for years - no one in the US administration or in the US Christian community seemed to care, even though it was on "our watch" so to speak. (GWB's watch, that is). Many of the Christians in Iraq have fled to Damascus (Syria better for Christians than Iraq? I do not understand that.)

Good luck getting any "leader" to speak out, particularly today.

Give to the agencies helping these desperate souls and pray like crazy.

"Christian leaders of the West"

Pastorius a couple of months back the Vatican directly called upon the Pakistani Ambassador to the Holy See, and issued a dermache in regards to Pakistani Catholics/fellow Christians being murdered, just like was done to the Chaldean Catholic AB in Mosul. (my post from a couple of days ago)

Moreover, when Mr 10 percent, that clown, their nominal President, Zardari, was in Rome a couple of weeks, it was also adressed openly to him...obviously though the ISI runs the show in Paki Land.

But hey, our interloping, charlatan of a leader, who loves to properly pronounce Pa-ki-stan, should be able to make some headway right????

Yes indeed.....As I have noted hundreds of times over....GWB is the greatest proselytizer that Islam has had since Saladin. We supported his mission to Islamize the world....either actively, or by our silence.

The price to be paid soon...is our immortal souls. (Yeah, I know...y'all can step up to the pearly gates and smooth-talk you way inside........Bullshit! You are going to meet Hitler and Arafat real soon.

Anonymous,
You are Michael Travis. Why are you not signing your name?

Carlos,
The Catholic Church issuing a dermache is no more effective than the UN issuing another "strongly worded letter."

It is time for the Church to declare war, just like in the days of old.

It is also time for Benedict to remember that Nuns and Priests and Monks who serve in hostile countries are "warriors in the Army of God." They should not be protected. Their martyrdom is their glory. That's what the Church used to believe, but Benedict backs down when a Nun is killed.

That is close to blasphemy, if you ask me.

You know I love Benedict, but this I have trouble tolerating.

The entire Christian Church, Catholic and Protestant, is missing the major moral issues of our time. Very few Christians actually speak out on the real issues.

Please, Carlos, read my post:
