Rep. Kanjorski Drops Bomb... US Financial System Was Attacked On September 11th, 2008

From Gateway Pundit:

Catastrophic Financial Attack On 9-11 Caused Economic Meltdown!
Rep. Paul Kanjorski (D-PA) told CSPAN: "It would have been the end of our economic and political system."

The catastrophic attack occurred on September 11, 2008?
Why is this news just now getting out?
Capitalism Gone Wild reported:

Rep. Paul Kanjorski of Pennsylvania explains what former Treasury Secretary Paulson and Fed Chairman Bernanke told congress during the September 2008 closed door session. During the first third of the video an enraged caller is ranting to Rep. Kanjorski about how wasteful the first $700 billion bailout was. The best part is 2 minutes and 15 seconds into the tape where Rep. Kanjorski reveals what Paulson and Bernanke told congress that shocked them into supporting the first $700 billion bailout.

On Thursday Sept 15, 2008 at roughly 11 AM The Federal Reserve noticed a tremendous draw down of money market accounts in the USA to the tune of $550 Billion dollars in a matter of an hour or two. Money was being removed electronically.

The Treasury tried to help, opened their window and pumped in $150 Billion but quickly realized they could not stem the tide. We were having an electronic run on the banks. So they decided to closed down the accounts.

Had they not closed down the accounts they estimated that by 2 PM that afternoon. Within 3 hours. $5.5 Trillion would have been withdrawn and the entire economy of the United States would have collapsed, and within 24 hours the world economy would have collapsed.
Rush Limbaugh commented on this bomb earlier in the week:

The question is who was doing this? Who was withdrawing all this money? And the next question is why? That's where my mind starts exploding, and this is dangerous to have these explosions going this way. Could it have been George Soros? Could it have been a consortium of countries -- Russia, China, Venezuela -- countries that are eager to have Barack Obama elected because they know that will make it easier for them to continue their own foreign policies in the world?
This is all very interesting-- When President Hussein was campaigning and the "economic crisis" hit, he did not think it pressing enough to leave the campaign trail, but now we should push through a trillion dollars in legislation without oversight because a few weeks later the King deems it urgent?

Pennsylvania Democrat reveals the financial crisis was deliberate, planned, staged:

At 2 minutes, 20 seconds into this C-SPAN video clip, Rep. Paul Kanjorski of Pennsylvania explains how the Federal Reserve told Congress members about a "tremendous draw-down of money market accounts in the United States, to the tune of $550 billion dollars." According to Kanjorski, this electronic transfer occured over the period of an hour or two.

It Was Twenty Years Ago Today

The Ayatollah taught the band to play ...

Rushdie book was "the catalyst for the emergence of a stronger sense of Muslim identity in Britain"

From Jihad Watch:

The irony continues: While in the West people are today celebrating Valentine's Day, in the Islamic world, February 14 signifies the day that free speech was officially threatened with death from the Islamic world -- exactly 20 years today.

"Anniversary of Rushdie book fatwa," from Reuters, February 14:

It is 20 years since Iran's Ayatollah Khomeini issued a fatwa against the author Salman Rushdie after the publication of The Satanic Verses.

The novel's release led to widespread protest by Muslims who regarded it as blasphemous, including public burning of the book.

Rushdie had to live in hiding and under special protection for several years.

And while he is now able to live a more public life, he says the affair remains "an albatross around his neck".

Last year, he told BBC's Newsnight that he was considering writing a book about the experience.

Nine days after The Satanic Verses was published in Britain in September 1988, it was banned in India.

Muslims who wanted the book withdrawn in Britain burned a copy at a demonstration in Bradford's main square.

Protests gathered pace in various countries, and on 14 February 1989, the Iranian revolutionary leader issued the fatwa.

"Happy Valentine's Day!" - straight from the mullocracy.
There were attacks on people involved in translating or publishing the book.

Although Iran said this week that the fatwa remains valid, the official line laid down in 1998 was that the death sentence should no longer be pursued.

BBC arts correspondent Lawrence Pollard said the controversy over the book could be seen as a defining moment for British society, both for race relations and freedom of speech.

"[It was] the catalyst for the emergence of a stronger sense of Muslim identity in Britain," he said. "Protestors had an issue around which to rally."

"Until that time there had been assumed support for the broad principle of free speech, the Rushdie affair introduced the question of how far free expression should be limited to avoid offending religious feelings in a multicultural society," he added.

33 Minutes

A ballistic missile from a foreign enemy would take 33 minutes to reach the United States. With each passing day, this becomes a growing danger to America, yet our government has failed to build the missile defense systems capable of defending us against such attacks.

The time has come to revive the strategic missile defense system that America uniquely can develop, maintain, and employ for its own defense and the peace-loving world's security.

This documentary, from The Heritage Foundation, aims to do just that by highlighting the disastrous consequences of a nuclear explosion on American soil - one that could happen in just 33 minutes.

Jan Ziniewicz' Longest Night

A Different Kind of Memorial

Last night, 63 years ago, the glorious city of Dresden was turned into a heap of rubble.

I would like to post a little memorial beyond any "We poor Germans have all been hijacked by some evil Nazi aliens"-whining and "No Tears for Krauts" or "Bomber Harris Do It Again" self-hatred.

This is about a survivor of the bombing, a young Polish man named Jan Ziniewicz, and about hope.

To appropriately explain who Jan Ziniewicz was (or is, he may well be still alive) I have to digress.

Breeding pure Arabian horses had a 400-year tradition in Poland already when Germany raided Poland in 1939. In 1817, after the Congress of Vienna on the initiative of Administrative Council of the Congressional Kingdom of Poland, Janów Podlaski, the first and most important Polish state-stud was founded and it was mainly from here that the Arabian horse, gentrified by Polish breeding genius, went to pass on its beauty, toughness, athletic ability and kind disposition to the indigenous breeds of Europe.

More than 80 percent of Janów's horses had perished in the war campaign of 1939. In 1944, as the Sovjet army was approaching the River Bug, the German Command ordered an evacuation of the horses. The farm, including its staff, was relocated to Sohland in Saxony where it remained until February 1945. With them were the stars among the stallions, the half-brothers Witraz and Wielki Szlem – and Jan Ziniewicz, their groom.

The evacuation continued westward when the Russian army crossed the River Oder. Arriving in Dresden on the night of February 13th, 1945, the entire group of 80 stallions were swallowed by the firebrand that destroyed the city. More than half of the stallions were lost in this pandemonium, a fate that certainly would have befallen Witraz and Wielki Szlem too, had it not been for the courage and determination of Jan Ziniewicz. With Witraz' reins in one hand and Wielki Szlem's in the other, the slip of a lad (as he was described) hold tight to his treasured charges throughout the entire horrific ordeal. He didn't let it go, the pride and the future of the Polish Arabian breed, not among fire, bombs and dying people, not even when Witraz's tail caught fire, not when his hands were chafed to raw meat and not when he must have realized that he was very probably going to die.

But he didn't.

Stud manager young Dr. Andrzej Krzysztalowicz (1915 – 1998), later to become Janów's Director from 1958 to 1991, arrived early the next morning, riding another one of the stud's priceless stars, Amurath Sahib, to find his two precious stallions deeply upset, but basically unharmed. Of 80 stallions 38 survived, 22 were found dead and 20 were never found at all. When he rode along the 22 dead bodies of his stallions, it can be safely assumed that he wept.

Mares and foals had remained unharmed. They had arrived only after the firebrand because of the slow travelling speed imposed by the presence of very young foals.

The horses, including Witraz and Wielki Szlem, were repatriated to Poland in 1946. They were to establish historic legacies of unmatched importance to their breed, not just in Poland but all over the world.

On October 30, 2005, the Frauenkirche, Dresden's landmark and most glorious architectural gem, was consecrated anew after more than a decade of rebuilding, helped by donations from Britain and the United States.

Jan Ziniewicz with Almifar (Witraz' grandson) and Czort (Wielki Szlem's son). Judging from the birthdates of the stallions, the picture must have been taken in the early Sixties.

My thanks for this picture go to Betty Finke, one of the greatest experts on Arabian horses alive.

The New One Trillion Dollar Bill

In Rome in C.E. 270, Valentine enraged the emperor Claudius II,* who had issued an edict forbidding marriage. Claudius felt that married men made poor soldiers, because they would not want to leave their families for battle. The empire needed soldiers, so Claudius abolished marriage.

Valentine, bishop of Interamna, invited young couples to come to him in secret, where he joined them in the sacrament of matrimony. Claudius learned of this “friend of lovers,” and had the bishop brought to the palace. The emperor, impressed with the young priest’s dignity and conviction, attempted to convert him to the roman gods, to save him from certain execution. Valentine refused to renounce Christianity and boldly attempted to convert the emperor.

History also claims that while Valentine was in prison awaiting his fate, he fell in love with the blind daughter of the jailer, Asterius. Through his faith he miraculously restored her sight. He then signed a farewell message to her “From Your Valentine,” a phrase that would live long after its author.

Valentine was clubbed to death, then beheaded, on February 14 around 270 C.E. during a Christian persecution. In a way, it could be said he died for love and it may be for this that his feast day, named in 496 C.E. by Pope Gelasius, has become associated with romance.

In Persian culture (Iran) Sepandarmazgan is a day for love, which is on 29 Bahman in the jalali solar calendar. The corresponding date in the Gregorian calendar is 17 February. Sepandarmazgan was observed in the Great Persian Empire in the 20th century BC hundreds of years before its acknowledgement by western world.

This day is currently celebrated semi-secretly in Iran despite some restrictions made by government; young Persian boys and girls may be seen on this day going out and buying gifts and celebrating.

In Saudi Arabia in 2008, religious police banned the sale of all Valentine's Day items, telling shop workers to remove any red items, as the day is considered an un-Islamic holiday.

Saudi authorities consider Valentine's Day, along with a host of other annual celebrations, as un-Islamic.

In addition to the prohibition on celebrating non-Islamic festivals, the authorities consider Valentine's Day as encouraging relations between men and women outside wedlock - punishable by law in the conservative kingdom. The Saudi Gaz

Some people placed orders with florists days or weeks before Valentine's Day in anticipation of the ban, which is a regular occurrence. "Sometimes we deliver the bouquets in the middle of the night or early morning, to avoid suspicion," one florist said.

Others were planning to travel to the more religiously liberal neighbouring countries, Bahrain or the United Arab Emirates, to celebrate.

Saudi Arabian authorities impose a strict Islamic code that prevents men and women from mixing.

February 14, 1978: In El Salvador, leftist guerrillas belonging to the People's Liberation Army bombed and machine gunned the Nicaraguan Embassy in San Salvador. The Marxists called it a "symbolic" attack against Nicaraguan President Anastasio Somoza.

February 14, 1978: Palestinian terrorists set off a bomb next to a bus in downtown Jerusalem. Two people were killed and 35 more were injured, many seriously.

February 14, 1979: In Iran, 200 armed Shia terrorists, mostly Islamic students, attacked the U.S. Embassy. They held U.S. Ambassador William H. Sullivan and 101 members of the embassy staff hostage for more than two hours.

The assault began at 10:15 am when the young Islamic jihadists opened fire with heavy machineguns from the roof of a hotel and other buildings in the area. Other Muslim youths then pinned down the 19 marine guards while others scaled the walls and embassy gates from three sides and fired at the chancery. During the attack one embassy employee was killed and five were wounded.

The siege ended when mujahideen loyal to the new government of Ayatollah Khomeini engaged the younger jihadists and eventually placed the U.S. Embassy under control of the mullah's militia.

February 14, 1979: Four Afghan Muslims kidnapped U.S. Ambassador Adolph Dubs in Kabul and demanded the release of various "Islamic religious figures." Dubs was killed, along with four terrorists, when Afghan police stormed the hotel room where he was being held. The Muslim gang which perpetrated the attack was Fascist, Sunni, and Pakistani, things that created a rift between them and the pro-Soviet Marxist Muslim regime in control of Afghanistan at the time.

It was uncertain whether Mr. Dubs was killed by his abductors, as they had threatened, or was shot when government forces rushed into the hotel and opened fire. According to American Embassy sources, the Marxist Muslim gunmen assaulted the building in spite of a warning from the American Embassy in Kabul not to attack the hotel or open fire on the abductors while efforts were being made to obtain the Ambassador's release.

After the shooting, Mr. Dubs was found dead of gunshot wounds in the head and heart. Three of the Fascist Muslims were killed in the shootout, and one was captured. The kidnappers were believed to be seeking the release of three recently imprisoned Islamic religious leaders and the Americans were just pawns in a Shia-Sunni dispute.

Ignoring the Islamic connection, Deputy Secretary of State Warren Christopher expressed shock at the Soviet Union's actions because he alleged that they were somehow involved in advising police officers in Kabul. Rather than blame Islam, or even (pre-Taliban) Afghanistan, America blamed the Soviets for their failure to heed the U.S. requests that the assault not be undertaken.

February 14, 1985:In the Philippines, Muslims protesting U.S. and Japanese support of the popularly elected Marcos government claimed responsibility for a hotel fire in Manila which killed 30, including five Americans. The murderous blaze destroyed the Regent of Manila hotel. In the middle of the night guests were forced to leap from windows as the hotel was plunged into complete darkness. This was the fourth arson attack in the Philippines in as many months. In total, forty people were killed in the reign of terror.

February 14, 1986: A civilian bus in Jerusalem was bombed, injuring six passengers. Force-17, Yasser Arafat's personal terrorists, claimed responsibility.

February 14, 1989: In Iran, the Ayatollah Khomeini, the world's highest ranking Shiite cleric, issued a fatwa, or religious order, regarding the novel Satanic Verses by author Salman Rushdie. He told Muslims to assassinate the author and offered a million dollar reward for his head.

While they would not kill Rushdie, the author would have to go into hiding. And within a matter of a few years, Muslims would murder countless people associated with the translation and distribution of the book in a variety of Western countries.

February 14, 1991: Shia Muslims kidnapped a French and an Italian citizen in southern Beirut.

February 14, 1991: In the United Arab Emirates, an Italian sailor died after being stabbed while on leave from his ship in the Gulf emirate of Dubai.

February 14, 1994: Islamic Group terrorists opened fire on a bus filled with Romanian engineers in Asyut, Egypt. Al-Gama'a al-Islamiya claimed responsibility for the attack as part of their campaign against foreigners. On February 3rd and 8th, they had issued statements warning all foreigners to leave Egypt or suffer the consequences.

February 14, 1995: A senior army officer of the deposed Afghani Marxist Muslim regime was assassinated at his home in Pakistan.

February 14, 1996: The Abu Sayyaf Group attacked the Citibank headquarters in Manila, Philippines. The jihadists fired automatic weapons and then hurled hand grenades into the building.
Authorities found a bag which had fallen out of one of the four vehicles used during the raid. It contained an RPG, grenades, an assault rifle, and priest's robes.

February 14, 1998: Coimbatore was subjected to the most devastating attack of terrorist bombings Tamil Nadu has ever witnessed. The attack, blamed on Muslim fundamentalist groups, came barely three months after 18 Muslims were killed in the city in November-December 1997 in a pogrom unleashed by a section of the police in concert with Hindu militants following the killing of a police constable, allegedly by three Muslim youth.

forty-six persons - 35 men, 10 women and one child - were killed and over 200 injured in 13 bomb attacks in 11 places, all of them within a 12-km radius. Ten more persons were killed in the next few days: six suspected Muslim fundamentalists died following a police raid on their hideout in Tirumal Street on February 15, and four teenaged Muslim boys died following a stray blast in Al-Ameen Colony on February 17.

The first of the serial bombs on February 14 exploded at 3.50 p.m. on Shanmugham Road in R.S. Puram, barely 100 metres from the venue of an election meeting that was to be addressed by Bharatiya Janata Party president L.K. Advani. Over the next 40 minutes, blasts were reported on West Sambandam Road, Gani Rowther Street at Ukkadam, at a textile showroom on Big Bazaar Street, a shopping complex near the main bus stand at Gandhipuram, the vehicle parking lot at the Coimbatore Junction railway station, the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital (CMCH), a travel agency (owned by a local BJP leader) on V.K.K. Menon Road, a jewellery shop on Oppanakara Street, a BJP election office at Ratnapuri near Sivananda Colony and a temple at Kurichikulam.

The explosives used were gelatin sticks; these were activated by timer devices. They were concealed in cars, motorcycles, bicycles, the sideboxes of two-wheelers, denim and rexine bags, and - in one case - a cart loaded with pineapples. Several bombs that failed to detonate were defused by the bomb disposal squad sof the Army, the National Security Guards and the Tamil Nadu Commando School. An abandoned car laden with a horrifying 70 kg of explosives, discovered on East Lokamanya Street in R.S. Puram, close to the BJP meeting venue, gave cause for much anxiety for days until the complicated device was dismantled.

Police sources blamed the blasts on Al-Umma, a Muslim fundamentalist organisation that has its base in Kottaimedu, a predominantly Muslim area in Coimbatore. The sources said the bombings were an act of reprisal for the death of 18 Muslims in the communal riots and police firing in November-December 1997. The police are also investigating the possible involvement of the Jihad Committee, another Muslim fundamentalist organisation.

Within hours of the blasts, the Tamil Nadu Government banned Al-Umma and the Jihad Committee. Al-Umma founder-president S.A. Basha and 12 other members of the organisation were arrested in Chennai; explosive materials and weapons were seized from his house in Triplicane, Chennai. Leaders of the Jihad Committee and the Tamil Nadu Muslim Munnetra Kazhagam (TMMK) were arrested in a State-wide crackdown. Among those arrested were Jihad Committee president R.M. Haniffa, general secretary Mohammed Haniffa, student wing secretary Akram Khan, TMMK president and college lecturer M.H. Jawahirulla and treasurer G.M. Pakkar. Over the next few days, over 100 activists of the three organisations were arrested at Keezhakkarai, Devakottai, Dindigul, Nagapattinam, Thanjavur, Nagercoil, Melapalayam and Udumalpet.

About 1,000 others were detained as a precautionary measure. In Coimbatore district, nine persons were arrested; 528 others - 326 Hindus and 202 Muslims - were detained as a precautionary measure.

February 14, 2001: In Iran, five mortar shells were launched into a suburb of Mousian, near the Iraqi border. Authorities suspected the Iraq-based Mujahedin-e-Khalq (MEK). There were no reported injuries.

February 14, 2000: Trial began for 24 Turkish DHKP/C terrorists for their attacks on French, U.K., and U.S. targets during the 1991 Gulf War.

Ok, Abu Abdullah, taking your advice

I'm taking Abu Abdullah's advice (yeah, advice from the True Prophet :)

The Following email was just dispatched to Rick Santorum at The Ethics and Public Policy Center where he is a fellow and direct the Program to Protect America's Freedoms.

We'll see how this works out. Meanwhile if you'd like to email him as well send it to ethics@eppc.org .

Mr Santorum,

I am a counter-jihad blogger for the Infidel Bloggers Alliance. We are a collection of international bloggers whose purpose is to alert the U.S. and the world to the threat of Islamic Fascism, the "gathering storm",a purpose seemingly shared by EPPC's Program to Protect America's Freedoms. Our readership has been steadily growing -- nearly 100,000 hits last month. We are often linked by The Washington Post, The New York Times, CNN, The L.A. Times among others for further comments on the stories we carry.

I am also a constituent and have long known you to hold many of the same views and beliefs we do at IBA, something rare among elected officials.

As bloggers for the counter-jihad we read with great interest (and posted on) your interview with the Philadelphia Inquirer on February 12th.

I do not know if you read or how aware he is of the counter jihad blog movement but we at the Infidel Bloggers Alliance would like to invite you to read our pages and comment there if you like. We also link to many of the other counter jihad blogs. It would help the movement both ways in getting the message out about the threat America and the World faces from creeping Sharia and charging Islamization. The mainstream media is sadly falling short in it's duties in this.

We're already losing Europe, and America is showing cracks.

Now is the time where "we must all hang together or, surely, we will all hang separately."

Muslim Sense of Humour

Earlier posted at my old blog one year ago

Pizzaria shop owners, Saeed Hasmi and Jan Yadgari, "accidentally" sold chocolate cake with human faeces on top. Must be a new muslim icing recipe. Of course these "culinary specialists" admitted the charge but have no idea how the cake got those brown "sprinkles" on top - guess they were airborne. The monetary fine seems a bit light for serving up dung cake.

Shop-owners sold chocolate cake sprinkled with human faeces (SHIT)

Two shop-owners were today fined for selling chocolate cake - which had been sprinkled with human faeces.

A horrified customer ate the foul-smelling gateaux but noticed that it didn't taste or smell "quite right" and handed the cake to public health scientists.

The analysts soon established that the sweet treat was covered in faeces and legal proceedings against the shop owners were started.

Shop owners Saeed Hasmi, 25, and Jan Yadgari, 23, were fined £1,500 for selling food unfit for human consumption.

The pair - who ran the Italiano Pizzeria in Roath, Cardiff - admitted the charge but did not say how the chocolate cake was contaminated.

The takeaway is a favourite with late-night revellers and students living around the takeaway close to Cardiff University.

A spokeswoman for the public health department in Cardiff City Council said: "The person who bought the cake realised it didn't taste or smell
quite right so they reported it to us.

"Subsequent examination by the public analyst and national public health service laboratories confirmed the presence of faecal matter.

"There were bits of it all over the top of the cake. "We cannot say for definite what kind of faecal matter it is, although it is very likely it was human. It would have to go through a
DNA test for us to know for absolutely sure."

Hasmi and Yadgari at first denied the charge but pleaded guilty at Cardiff magistrates court before the trial.

Hasmi, of Roath, Cardiff, and Yadgari, of Adamsdown, Cardiff, were each fined £1,500 and ordered to pay £200 costs.

The case has taken 18 months to come to court and the pair have both left the Pizzeria.

Shams Mehrabi, who took over the Italiano Pizzeria in March, condemned
the actions of the two men. He now has hygiene certificates on the wall
and said: "I have the highest standards.

This Day in Islamic Terrorism: The 1998 Coimbatore Bombings

The latest installment of the This Day in Islamic Terrorism series.

Mumbai was nothing new to India. Jihad has been ravaging that region for over 1000 years. The first attempted invasion of India by Muslims occurred in 636 CE -- under Caliph Umar, within four years of Muhammad's death.

"The massacres perpetrated by Muslims in India are unparalleled in history, bigger than the holocaust of the Jews by the Nazis; or the massacre of the Armenians by the Turks; more extensive even than the slaughter of the South American native populations by the invading Spanish and Portuguese."

This is one such occurrence 11 years ago today.

On Saturday, February 14 1998, in the city of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. 46 persons - 35 men, 10 women and one child - were killed and over 200 injured in 13 bomb attacks in 11 places , all of them within a 12km radius, 4 bombs were planted at R S Puram area, two near Bus Stand, 1 near Coimbatore Medical College Hospital and at Ukkadam area. These car bombs was the work of Muslim fundamentalist group "Al Umma" which had a strong presence in Coimbatore.

The bombings were apparently in retaliation to the earlier riots in the city the previous year, when Hindu gangs and Fundamentalist Muslim groups clashed with each other following the murder of a traffic policeman named "Selvaraj" , by a member of the radical Islamist group Al Umma (The Ummah).

The first of the serial bombs exploded at 3.50 p.m. on Shanmugham Road in R.S. Puram, 100 metres from the venue of an election meeting that was to be addressed by Bharatiya Janata Party president L.K. Advani. There were allegations that suicide bombers were ready to target L.K.Advani on that day.

(Pictured Left) On West Sambandam Road in Coimbatore, bodies of two victims of one of the 13 bomb explosions that rocked the city on February 14.

(Right) BJP president L.K. Advani, whose election meeting in the city was cancelled following the explosions, at the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital. In the foreground, a woman mourns the loss of her son.

S.A. Basha and 34 other persons have been convicted for the conspiracy of bomb blasts in Coimbatore, India for a life term. There were 4 bomb blasts in Coimbatore on 14th February 1998. There were 12 blasts in which 54 innocent people died. One of the suicide bombers was to target L.K. Advani, however he did not activate the bomb which was aimed at L.K. Advani as Advani’s flight was delayed and had not reached the venue of the meeting on the fateful day. Basha was head of Al Umma, an extremist organization in Tamil Nadu formed in 1993, which had been accused of masterminding the bomb blasts. Till the eighties, there were hardly any extremist organizations in Tamil Nadu. However, after the demolition of Babri Masjid in 1992, Islamic extremism spread to Tamil Nadu and Al Umma was one such organization.

And now, it is done....Specialist: Iran has already achieved nuclear weapons capability

This blog has with boring regularity whenever the subject of Iran's CAPABILITY to build nuclear weapons has been raised pointed out that we did it in 10 months, with 1944 technology, in absolute secrecy, and produced a weapon we were so confident was reliable (U-235 gun mount trigger) we didn't even test it before it was used at Hiroshima (the July 1945 test was a plutonium weapons, of more complex technology, THEN).

We have also been BORINGLY STRIDENT that Iran's intention to create such a weapon is not only obvious, but that no power short of force could stop it, and all the flapping of lips, and threats from DC to London, to Paris, to Tel Aviv, to Berlin and back were, not only a waste of time, but made everyone RIDICULOUS in the eyes of the Hojatieh, who understand us very well.

HERZLIYA, Israel -- A Russian nuclear proliferation expert contradicted a U.S. National Intelligence Estimate, telling a conference here that Iran has developed the capability to produce and fire nuclear weapons.

"Iran already has nuclear capabilities," [Ret.] Gen. Vladimir Dvorkin said on Feb. 4 in a speech to the the annual Herzliya Conference. He also said that said Iran has engineered its latest missiles, enabling them to contain a nuclear warhead.

In a sharp departure from the U.S. NIE in late 2007, the Russian analyst said Teheran acquired most of the components needed for a nuclear bomb as early as 2003.

[Ret.] Gen. Vladimir Dvorkin PBS
A member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Dvorkin said Iran has succeeded in concealing the progress of its nuclear program.

"Iran has systematically managed to fool the international community regarding its nuclear plans," Dvorkin said.

NIE asserted that Teheran, concerned of a U.S. attack, suspended its nuclear weapons program in 2003. The controversial assessment, disowned by many in the U.S. intelligence community, asserted that Iran failed to complete the development of a nuclear warhead for Iran's Shihab-3 intermediate ballistic missile.

But Dvorkin said Iran has already modified the Shihab-3 to contain a nuclear warhead. He said Teheran has constructed sufficient numbers of these missiles, with a range of more than 2,000 kilometers, to strike "any target they want."

Iran's nuclear weapons program continues to be fraught with difficulties, Dvorkin said. He cited the biggest problem as the acquisition of uranium, saying Teheran was believed to have obtained the ore from the black market.

The Russian analyst dismissed the prospect that the West could persuade Iran to end its nuclear weapons program. He said Iran regarded nuclear weapons as its key strategic asset.

"The only way I see the problem being resolved is by military action," Dvorkin said.

I'm not sure if rage or disgust is more dominant in me.

Is THE ONE up to all this? So far it has been truly astonishing mistakes in foreign efforts, and a laughable shambles domestically, punctuated by a bill to save us, which no one read before passing it.

Shit, Piss and Corruption

Had they held to the Republican line this theft of your grandchildrens' future would not have passed. How are you going to feel when the government knows your entire medical history? And knows that of your children? Under HIPAA YOUR not allowed to know that after they reach adulthood, but the government can? WHAT THE FUCK?

And it would have only taken one of them to hold the line and holdoff this piece of rubbish.

"We just killed the American Dream"

from FoxNews:

Congress Passes $787B Stimulus Bill, Sending It to Obama for Signature
The bill passed in the Senate with 60 votes after the House approved the measure earlier in the day by a vote of 246-183

WASHINGTON -- Congress passed the final version of a $787 billion economic stimulus plan aimed at jolting the slumping U.S. economy, sending the legislation to President Obama's desk for his signature.

The bill passed the Senate late Friday night with a vote of 60-38 after Democratic leadership held the vote open for several hours to allow one member, Democratic Sen. Sherrod Brown, to return to Washington to cast the deciding vote. He had flown back from Ohio, where his mother died earlier in the week.

"We just passed this bill to help our struggling economy," Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said.

The House approved the measure earlier in the day by a vote of 246-183, with no Republican "yes" votes and one member voting present.

House Republicans remained united in their opposition to the package despite concerns among GOP leaders Thursday that at least a handful of Republicans would vote for it. Democrats picked up three of the 11 members who jumped ship to side with Republicans on the previous vote two weeks ago.

Obama, addressing a White House group, noted that lawmakers had a "spirited debate" and said the legislation is "only the beginning" of what he considers necessary "to turn our economy around." The president did not get all he wanted out of the bill.

The 1,071 page measure -- eight inches thick -- was posted on an overburdened congressional Web site late Thursday, giving lawmakers just a few overnight hours to read it before debate resumed in both the House and Senate Friday morning. Just on Tuesday, the House voted unanimously to recommend that lawmakers and the public have at least 48 hours to read the legislation before a vote.

The plan, freshly estimated at $787 billion by the Congressional Budget Office, combines $281 billion in tax cuts with $308 billion in outlays funded by the appropriations committees and about $198 billion in spending for benefit programs such as unemployment assistance, $250 payments or millions of people receiving Social Security benefits, and extra money for states to help with the Medicaid health program for the poor and disabled.

Obama's "Making Work Pay" tax cut would be scaled back from $500 for most workers to $400, with couples getting $800 instead of $1,000.

Obama said Friday that "passing this bill is a critical step." He plans to announce a new housing initiative soon, perhaps as early as next week.

"We have a once in a generation chance to act boldly, turn adversity into opportunity, and use this crisis as a chance to transform our economy for the 21st century," the president said.
Click here for our video coverage about the Stimulus Package.

The plan is the signature initiative of the fledgling Obama administration, which is betting that combining tax cuts of just a few dollars a week for most workers with an infusion of hundreds of billions of dollars of government spending over the next few years will arrest the economy's fall.
But the inclusion of a $70 billion tax break to make sure middle- to upper-income taxpayers won't get hit by the alternative minimum tax forced a reduction of Obama's signature tax break for 95 percent of workers.

Republicans pointed out a bevy of questionable spending items that made the final cut in House-Senate negotiations, including money to replace computers at federal agencies, inspect canals, and issue coupons for convertor boxes to help people watch TV when the changeover to digital signals occurs this summer.

"This measure is not bipartisan. It contains much that is not stimulative," said Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., Obama's rival for the White House. "And is nothing short -- nothing short -- of generational theft" since it burdens future generations with so much debt, he added.

Obama economics adviser Larry Summers cautioned against raising expectations too high.
"I think this is a key part of what's going to be a multipart strategy to contain this decline," he said. But Summers added that the problems "weren't made in a week, a month, a year. It's going to take time to fix." He said it should not be considered a "silver bullet," or panacea for deeply rooted business woes.

Much of the spending won't be delivered this year or even next, and Republicans pointed to studies by the Congressional Budget Office that say that adding so much to the national debt would cost the economy by the end of the decade.

Republicans, lined up to vote against the bill, piled on the scorn.

"This is not the smart approach," said Sen. Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, the Republican leader.

"The taxpayers of today and tomorrow will be left to clean up the mess."

It was clear that the measure was the result of old-fashioned sausage-making. Pet provisions were coming to light that had not been included in the original bills that passed the House or Senate -- or that differed markedly from earlier versions. Some appeared to brush up against claims of the bill's supporters that no pet projects known as "earmarks" were included.

Breaking Intelligence Report: Obama to Drop Sanctions On Iran

This man will get us all killed. After he throws Israel under the bus.

Gateway Pundit:

Breaking Intelligence Report: Obama to Drop Sanctions On Iran

This article was published in Geostrategy-Direct , an open source intelligence (OSINT) newsletter that has a good track record.

The report would probably seem preposterous if it weren't for the fact that Team Obama already waived sanctions on Syria and is considering opening travel to Cuba. It's like watching Carter on Speed.

This latest news comes from the February 18, 2009 edition of Geostrategy Direct (subscribers only):

DOSSIER: Ehud Barak'Change' the mullahs can believe in: Obama to drop sanctions on Iran TEL AVIV — Israelis may have gone to the polls hoping for "Change" but the status quo is all any of the candidates could look forward to whatever the outcome. Defense Minister Ehud Barack, has already glimpsed the future and has warned about what it holds.

Meanwhile, the status quo means continued rocket and missile attacks while international aid pours into the Gaza Strip and bolsters a regime run by Hamas, which is still considered by the United States to be a terrorist organization.

But "Change" is taking place, Barak has intimated, originating not in the Mideast but in Washington, D.C. in the form of a U.S. reconciliation with Iran.

Such a process could result in U.S. acceptance of Teheran's nuclear weapons program and the downplaying of its threats against Israel.

Just as Barack Obama entered office facing a massive economic crisis beyond the scope of his experience, likewise the new Israeli leader will have to make or delay making difficult strategic decisions from the minute he or she enters office.

Barak has already signaled what the new government can expect, officials here said.

The United States has abandoned its policy of sanctioning companies that aid Iran's nuclear and missile program, they said.

The officials said the new Obama administration of has decided to end sanctions against Iranian government agencies or companies that aid Teheran's missile and nuclear program. The officials said Israel has been informed of the new U.S. policy.

"We were told that sanctions do not help the new U.S. policy of dialogue with Iran," an official said.

Barak confirmed the new U.S. policy. In an address to the Herzliya Conference on Feb. 3, Barak said Washington did not say whether it would resume sanctions against Iran.

"We must arrive at a strategic understanding with the United States over Iran's military nuclear program and ensure that even if at this time they opt for the diplomatic option, it will only last a short time before harsh and necessary sanctions are imposed," Barak said.

Obama decided to end sanctions against Iran after determining that the U.S. measures had failed to block Teheran's missile or nuclear weapons program, officials said. Under the administration of former President George Bush, the United States accelerated sanctions on Iran in 2008.

In his address, the Israeli defense minister indicated that Obama had forged an entirely new approach toward Iran. He said the Israeli government has sought a briefing from the new U.S. administration.

A U.S. defense source said the White House would no longer enforce sanctions imposed by the Bush administration. The source said the decision has already been relayed to Iran.

"The administration has abandoned sanctions entirely," the U.S. source said. "It is a completely new ballgame."

Similarly, Obama has decided on a new U.S. ambassador to Syria and is expected to lift sanctions against a nation charged with aiding Al Qaida in Iraq and secretly building a nuclear reactor with North Korean assistance.

Diplomatic sources said Obama, in consultation with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, has asked Frederic Hof to become the first U.S. ambassador to Damascus since 2005.

The sources said Hof, a member of the National Advisory Committee of the Middle
East Policy Council, agreed to take the post.

The sources said the Obama administration was expected to suspend U.S. sanctions on Syria's military and energy programs.

They said Hof would be authorized to facilitate an expansion of U.S. relations with Syria, which deteriorated under President George Bush.

In 2005, the United States withdrew its ambassador to Damascus in wake of the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri. Syria was blamed for the car bombing in Beirut in which Hariri and many of his bodyguards were killed.

The sources said Obama sent emissaries to Syria in September 2008 and pledged that if elected he would reconcile with the regime of President Bashar Assad. After his election victory, they said, Obama sent another message that promised to appoint an ambassador within the first weeks of his administration.

Hamas Suppresses Free Speech in San Francisco

A disturbing video of the dangerous fifth-column a feckless government allows to operate on American soil.

The College Republicans at SFSU held an anti-hamas event on campus. They had a petition for students to sign in opposition to Hamas. Playing off the Bush shoe throwing incident, students who opposed hamas were encouraged to throw a shoe at the Hamas flag. Radical leftists and Hamas supporters rallied against the event and became violent. TWO students were taken into custody and charged for attacking the College Republicans.

When the Islamic/Left alliance is in charge, there will be no freedom of expression.

Interview With Geert Wilders After His Arrest

Member of the House of Lords, Lord Taverne, Stands Up For Wilders

From Jihad Watch:

From the UK Parliament: "A Private Notice Question - urgent question to the Government - was asked in the Lords Chamber on 12 February on the Government's justification for denying Dutch MP, Mr Geert Wilders, entry into the UK."

Asked By Lord Taverne

To ask Her Majesty’s Government what is their justification for denying Mr Geert Wilders entry into the United Kingdom.

Lord Taverne: My Lords, I beg leave to ask the Question of which I have given private notice.

Lord West of Spithead: My Lords, under European law, a member state of the European economic area may refuse entry to a national of another EEA state if they constitute a threat to public policy, public security or public health.

Lord Taverne: My Lords, I am aware that Mr Wilders holds views highly offensive to the Muslim community, but freedom of speech issues often raise awkward questions. Indeed, this ban has united in opposition the noble Lord, Lord Pearson, the Dutch Government—unusual allies—and also a section of the Muslim community which cares about freedom of expression. Does the Home Office agree that causing offence, even deep offence, to particular religious groups is no reason for compromising on the principle of freedom of expression? Why else did we repeal the laws on blasphemy? Since this is a ban on an EU citizen and Member of Parliament who has been convicted of no offence, and who has been invited to a private showing of a film in this House—not a rally in Trafalgar Square—does it not set a deeply disturbing precedent for the vital question of freedom of expression?

Lord West of Spithead: My Lords, the Government and I are great believers in freedom of expression. Indeed, I am constantly getting into trouble because I am too free with my expressions at times. But the decision was not based purely on the film “Fitna”, but also on a range of factors, including prosecution in the Netherlands for incitement and discrimination, and other statements. The Home Secretary has to make a decision, as was said, on anyone coming in if they are a threat to public policy or public security in particular. We are constantly looking at this and are very robust about it with all sorts of extremists, from whichever corner they come. I regularly, across my desk, have to give advice to the Home Secretary about stopping people coming into this country, because I do not think it is appropriate that they should be here. I think it is good that we are being robust about this, and absolutely appropriate that the Home Secretary should have made this decision.

Baroness Hanham: My Lords, there seems to be a bit of a lottery as to who is admitted and who is not. Are there any criteria by which the Home Secretary works, even if advised by the noble Lord, to justify who is refused admittance and who is not?

Lord West of Spithead: My Lords, there is effectively a list of things the Home Secretary will check through when she is making a decision about whether someone should be allowed into this country. Of course, as the House will well know, quite often we will say that someone should not come into this country, but they then appeal and, through our judicial system, it is decided that they should be allowed to do so. One of the great strengths and joys of this country is that there is a very robust approach to these things. Sometimes, it surprises many of us that that person is allowed to come in and continue to say things—that seems very strange, whatever persuasion they come from. There is a list, and it is checked through. As I said, the Home Secretary thought long and hard about this. The decision was based on a whole raft of things, not just on this film. I believe that it was the correct decision.

Lord Pearson of Rannoch: My Lords, I take this opportunity to thank the noble Lord, Lord Taverne, for asking this Question. I suggest to the Minister—perhaps he will correct me if I am wrong—that a man is innocent until he is proved guilty. I only have one question, because I know that we do not want to spend long on this. Does the noble Lord think that this situation would have occurred if Mr Wilders had said, “Ban the Bible”? If it would not have occurred, why not? Surely, the violence and the disturbance that may arise from showing this film in this country is not caused by the film, which merely attempts to show how the violent Islamist uses the Koran to perpetrate his terrible acts, but by the jihadist, the violent Islamist. In doing what the Government have done, surely they are therefore guilty of appeasement.

Lord West of Spithead: My Lords, I certainly do not think that we are guilty of appeasement in any way whatever. I do not want to go down the route of discussing a hypothetical case about what if he had talked about this or that. I am afraid that I am rather constrained about exactly what I can say about him. He is under prosecution in the Netherlands for incitement and discrimination. Clearly, anything that I say in this House could become involved in that, and I would not wish that to happen. It would be wrong if that was the case. Also, he can appeal against the Home Secretary’s decision, and anything that I say could be used there.

As I said, we are very robust across the board. We take no sides on this. We treat people whom we believe are a threat to the security and safety of this nation in exactly the same way, from whatever cloth they come; that is extremely important. I believe that this was the right decision.

Lord Trimble: My Lords, the Minister has talked about incitement, and reference has been made to the possibility of counterprotests. These are public order matters. The criterion that the Minister should be operating under is public security, which is a different thing.

Lord West of Spithead: My Lords, again, I really cannot go too far down this route. These things will be looked at in the Court of Appeal and in the court of another nation. I do not wish to go down this route; I think that it would be wrong for me to do so.

Lord Peston: My Lords, will the Minister comment on one matter, which might enable us to make up our minds? Who brought this matter to the attention of the Home Secretary? Since this man is an EU citizen, he does not have to apply specially to come to our country. How did this become a matter of public policy?

Lord West of Spithead: My Lords, I am afraid that I cannot give my noble friend an answer to that question, because I am not quite sure how it came to the attention of the Home Secretary. I was first aware of this about a week ago. I do not know the answer. Perhaps I can write to my noble friend when I can discover the answer.

Lord Wallace of Saltaire: My Lords—

Baroness Falkner of Margravine: My Lords—
