All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.
This is horrifying. How the hell did these people manage to seize control of CPAC? They could indeed deligitimize the Tea Party and threaten to splinter the entire movement.
(Special warning to people in the southeastern New England area. WTKK Radio talk show host Jay Severin describes Pat Buchanan as one of his top heroes. I haven't heard him say anything about Ron Paul yet and hope he'll have the good sense to stay away from RP.)
I always listen to Jay with the understanding that somewhere in those 4 hours I'm going to start yelling at the radio. I like him about 95% of the time, but that other 5% can contain some real deal breakers. Let's hope that next week (if he's not off rock climbing in Iceland with the dogs or whatever) he'll issue a renunciation of this CPAC support for Ron Paul.

SO
IS
THIS
Ron Paul is the PERFECT TOOL to deligitimize the tea party movement, conservatives, and the republican party.
He will NEVER BE MORE THAN THIS
OMG

I really like Jay.
But I also believe his mexican comment was for real; we may have to ultimately relegate hm to the same place as Mr Buchanan.
A conservative who is also bigoted.
That would be a shame
A large one

As most know, I have had very little time to blog the past several months. See this for the reason.
My point of dropping the above link in this comment is not to elicit sympathy.
I'm pointing out something else....
When I post here at IBA now, I post about matters that I consider of extreme importance.
If Ron Paul and the Paulites co-opt the conservative movement, we (conservatives and the nation a a whole) are in deep shit.
Not anyone is better than BHO. Really. Much as I despise BHO's policies and what he's doing, not anyone is better to have as President.
I hear people say all the time, "Anyone would better than BHO." Not so, IMO.
This straw poll giving Ron Paul some sort of quasi-credibility is dangerous and a very, very bad sign.
Epa,
Thanks for adding those links.
Gah! All this about Ron Paul is turning my stomach.
The Paulastianians are just as bad as the Obama bots.
