France has first 'burka rage' incident

A 60-year-old lawyer ripped a Muslim woman's Islamic veil off in a row in a clothing shop in what police say is France's first case of "burka rage".

The astonishing scene unfolded during a weekend shopping trip after the woman lawyer took offence at the attire of a fellow shopper resulting in argument during which the pair came to blows before being arrested.

Muslims will learn, at great existential cost, that attempting to ram the seventh century up the twenty-first century's arse will ultimately bring a painful end to their foolish charade.

I'm pretty sure the 7th century will wind up way far up their ass instead.

From the linked article:

A spokesman for Trignac police said that two complaints had been received, with the Muslim woman accusing the lawyer of racial and religious assault. The latter, in turn, had accused her opponent of common assault.

Apparently, the lawyer views a muslima's wearing the veil as an assault. Which it is -- upon Western civilization.

According to apostates of Islam, including Nonie Darwish, wearing the burqa is akin to wearing a swastika.

Yes, that's how I feel when I have to see these women veiled. I feel assualted and provoked. My grandmothers were mere chattel, as well. In one will, a greatgrandmother 7 generations down the line of eight, was given over to her eldest son when her husband died. The son got all the property too, including the slaves. My grandmother was a slave too it seems to me. She had no rights, and could not own property.

Once, in a supermarket, and I tell this story a lot, so I'm sorry if it's a repeat, a woman in a total shroud rounded the corner, and I screamed! I thought it was the grim reaper and my time was up.

Yes, it is an insult to all the rights Western women have fought long and hard for. Shrouds and veils in my culture are very offensive. It is a sign of subservience and slavery. It is morally reprehensible for them to dress that way in our countries.

American Rose,
I don't remember you telling that story here.

Imagine if everyone reacted that way to a woman in a burqa.

That is the appropriate response.
