Franklin Graham: “Obama’s Giving Islam a Pass Rather Than Openly Speaking About its Horrific Treatment of Women and Minorities”

From Weasel Zippers:

(Newsmax)- Evangelical leader Rev. Franklin Graham issued his toughest remarks yet Monday on the administration’s role in revoking his invitation to speak at the Pentagon’s National Day of Prayer event, charging that President Obama is “giving Islam a pass” rather than speaking openly about the “horrific” treatment women and minorities receive in many Muslim countries.

In an exclusive telephone interview with Newsmax.TV, Graham called revoking his invitation to the prayer service “a slap at all evangelical Christians.”

And he clearly placed the blame on the Obama administration, telling Newsmax that the Pentagon would never revoke such an invitation without first consulting with the White House.

“I’m being restricted from my religious rights, and from what I believe,” Graham warned, as he complained of a growing “secularization” in the government.

Franklin Graham has big balls.

The Law says you can't sue the President ... which is a good thing, cuz if it weren't the law, there'd be endless lawsuits against every single President.

I know-just thinking 'out loud'...however--is there any position holder in that 'regime' that we could sue? :-)

Hi.
God knows what has been said that Sunday between Graham and Barack(I have my own opinion on it) but just like him i wouldn't let my faith be pushed aside.
There comes a day a man has to stand up foir his believes,it's good to see that there are still decent people around who can hold their head upright.

Big Government has a great thread noting the complete absence of the word "Islam" or "Muslim" from msm reports & updates . . .writen by Monica Crowley "The Case of the Mysterious Disappearing Religion". Caught me off guard as I expect Spencer, RRA, Jawa, Ace, BNI, Gateway Pundit, Atlas, and IBLOGA to make note of the absence of these crucial terms . . .but I'm pleasantly surprised by this piece she wrote.

from the comments: "More than a dozen people with American citizenship or residency, like Shahzad, have been accused in the past two years of supporting or carrying out terrorism attempts on U.S. soil, cases that illustrate the threat of violent extremism from within the U.S.

Among them are Army Maj. Nidal Hasan, a U.S.-born Army psychiatrist of Palestinian descent, charged with fatally shooting 13 people last year at Fort Hood, Texas; Najibullah Zazi, a Denver-area airport shuttle driver who pleaded guilty in February in a plot to bomb New York subways; and a Pennsylvania woman who authorities say became radicalized online as "Jihad Jane" and plotted to kill a Swedish artist whose work offended Muslims.

The above was the only story I've seen so far that had any mention of Muslims or Islam.

Hmm, I guess I just thought it went without saying.

But, you're right, we were remiss.

C'mon Will, tell us your theory.

CS,
Sadly, I think we are without recourse.

Hi.
I think he told Graham to back of or take the consequences .
I guess he ddidden't choose for the latter.

Hi guys.
I don't think Graham is the kind to back off when it comes to religion, i think after due consideration and prayer he must have decided to confront the evil facing Christians these days.
I think we might here a couple of strong words from the Rev. on the National day of prayer.

Frank? Appreciate your comments about Islam, they are right on target. But please observe that Obummah snubbed you in order to sooth the so-easily-ruffled feathers of another RELIGION.

Also, please refer to Amendment #1 of the U.S. Constiution. The opposite of the government "becoming secular" is the government "becoming religious" which is unconstitutional.

I have never and will never post an article specifically promoting atheism. I do not, however, intend to quietly sit at the back of the bus for Franklin Graham or anyone else. I stand up for my "believes" too.

We all have to. Because the Muslims want us ALL at the back of the bus.

Historically guys like Franklin Graham are the ones in the vanguard who have made sure that no one is sent to the back of the bus.
