What a disgusting and disrespectful display. Why can't they lift their butts in their own home? Makes me sick.

Disgusting or seriously religious or not..all irrelevant.

If that Paris, how is it that it is acceptable to block ANY public way for any amount of time FIVE TIMES A DAY, for PRIVATE REASONS no matter why without some sort of permit?

Epa, This isn't praying. This is a huge assholish political statement.

Something's got to be done.

Epaminondas said...

It is praying. You just don't see it as such. But the issue is that in a secular nation, where THE PEOPLE are sovereign you can't yell god and block the streets.

PERIOD.

Keep the issue there.

Epa,

If you consider this praying, you're buying into their lies. This is political provocation intended as such.

If they want to pray, they can pray in private in their homes, like a human should.

But yes, I agree with you as well, you cannot block the streets to "pray" or for political acts, either way.

If people bump on a demonstration like those, people has to turn around and found another street...

how irrelevant is that?

Read what hypocrite-sos-racisme says about «Apéro géant saucisson et
pinard à la Goutte d'Or»:

My French is not as good as I wish. I think it is the most beautiful language in the world, and speaking Spanish helps with understanding French and especially Italian, ... but when I'm stumped, I use this site for translations. It's excellent. Highly recommend:

An Algerian Flag on a French Town Hall

The French flag hanging on the front of the town hall of Villeneuve-Saint-Georges (Val de Marne) was burnt in the night from Sunday to Monday and replaced by an Algerian flag, police said.

The facts were discovered Monday morning at the opening of the hall. The council said he had immediately lodged a complaint. On Sunday, Slovenia has defeated Algeria in the World Cup football match (1-0) in his first match in Group C.

In early June, Justice Minister, Michele Alliot-Marie, seized the State Council of a draft decree punishing a fine of 1500 euros the contempt of the French flag. The draft decree provides for a contravention of the fifth degree, punishable by a fine of 1500 euros, which will punish on the one hand the fact of degrading or indecent use of the tricolor flag in a public place or open to the public, and, secondly, to disseminate by any means the representation of these facts’ stated Arthur Dreyfuss, deputy spokesman of the Ministry of Justice. ‘The element of intent will be included in the decree in question’ to be taken into account in the sanction, he added.
