POLITICO: Obama has left wide swaths of the Democratic Party uncertain of his core beliefs

Gee, I wonder why?

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs's recent complaint about the ingratitude of the "professional left" is a small symptom of a larger problem for President Barack Obama: He has left wide swaths of the Democratic Party uncertain of his core beliefs.

In interviews, a variety of political activists, operatives and commentators from across the party's ideological spectrum presented similar descriptions of Obama's predicament: By declining to speak clearly and often about his larger philosophy -- and insisting that his actions are guided not by ideology but a results-oriented "pragmatism" -- he has bred confusion and disappointment among his allies, and left his agenda and motives vulnerable to distortion by his enemies.

That's because the survival of any of his programs is dependent on his obfuscating the positions he and his buds have had all their lives.

Beginning with Jeremiah.
Ending with Andy Stern and SEIU.

What has he DONE?
What has he proposed?
What has he apologized for?

That's what he believes.
There are no magic words forming some brilliant argument coming to save you from the reality of what you have voted for, failed to accomplish and in the face of the will of the people. There hasn't been ONE good argument to show leadership in the face of popular opposition, explaining why he must oppose the people and try to lead them in another direction ...

BECAUSE THAT EXPLANATION WOULD CAUSE HORROR

You nailed it. It's all a flimsy house of cards.

That stupid poll the media commissioned because they wanted to stir the pot? You know, the one where almost 18% say Obama is a Muslim?

That same poll shows only 48% of Democrats think Obama is a Christian!

But even among Democrats, fewer than half (46%) now identify his religion as Christian, down from 55% last year.

Why isn't the press reporting that over half the democratic voters are nuts?
