FBI Pays A Visit To Pastor Jones To Intimidate Him Into Canceling Koran Burning

This is exactly what the government is NOT supposed to do in the face of the 1st Amendment.

Sure, I know the First Amendment says, "Congress shall make no law ..." but the FBI is a Federal Agency in charge of enforcing the law.

In this case, they are showing up, under color of authority, and pseudo-enforcing a law which does not exist.

It is well within Pastor Jones' right to burn the Koran.

So, why did the FBI show up?

This is the way it used to be done in the Soviet Union.

Disgusting:
GAINESVILLE, Fla. — FBI agents visited Thursday with a minister of a small Florida church that plans to burn the Quran on Sept. 11, as public safety became a paramount concern and President Barack Obama added his voice to the chorus of opposition.

The FBI spent about a half hour talking with Jones, but church spokesman Wayne Sapp would not disclose what they discussed. Agents leaving the church wouldn't talk to an Associated Press reporter.

Jones said earlier this week that agents have visited him twice since he announced his plans in July, the last visit about two weeks ago.
Let us be clear: Our government is overstepping it's authority here. They are harrasing Pastor Jones.

They are violating his First Amendment Right to Free Speech. They are violating his Human Rights.

This could be taken up with the Suprme Court, and the Hague.

Pastor Jones is not hurting anyone, and he is not threatening to hurt anyone.

The trumped-up "security concerns" have nothing to do with the Pastor.

The :"security concern" has everything to do with the fact that we can not trust Muslims to act like law-abiding citizens. Instead, they will become murderous.

But, that is not the Pastor's fault.

It is the fault of Muslims, and of their sick, twisted religion, Islam.

It actually says Congress shall make no law :)

AND in the absence of any existing law the FBI has nothing to enforce and should stay the fuck out of it.

That is exactly what the First is to prevent and protect against. Protection from FEDERAL intrusion.

Thanks.

I changed the wording.

So, you're with me. This is a violation of the First Amendment, right?

Hi .
This is now the second time that Obama go's out of his way to change a priest his mind.
He sure has a prob with priests?
All good things come in 3's?

Pastorius -- yes, absolutely. There IS NOT and CAN NOT be a FEDERAL law against it so The Federak Bureau of Intimidation has no jurisdiction.

Now, they'll try to get around that by saying "We're not SAYING you can't, just suggesting you REALLY REALLY REALLY shouldn't" which is crap anyway if they're doing it whle serving as a Fed Gov't official.

Now if there were a state law (there isn't as far as I know) and it were State cops it would be another matter entirely.

Pastor Jones : The imam lied to me*** - considering re- burning of the Koran

10.09.10

American pastor , Terry Jones, said he was considering his decision to re- cancel the burning of the Koran books to mark the 11th September . Jones argued that relied on a promise from the Imam Muhammad induced a mosque that will be built on the ruins of " Ground Zero " in New York , but that " clearly more expensive . "
Induced contends , the only promise given to Jones was that the two will fly together to New York for a meeting with those responsible for the construction of the mosque.

The FBI has no business in this unless they suspect Jones in violation of the law under an active investigation requiring an interview with the suspect.

WHAT LAW?

They should have been there ONLY if Jones asked for information on threats to parishioners where they had some.

If the FBI walked in the door and said 'Jones, WE'LL FIND SOMETHING', we are in deep trouble.

This is going to be a great victory for those islamists who are precisely the people ready and waiting to kill americans anywhere, anytime, for they have enlisted our own govt as an ally precisely because that govt is afraid these islamist religious terrorists and murderers will do what they want to do anyway.

We don't negotiate with terrorists?

Actually no.

We cave at threats.
