I don't think it was what he had in mind but Rev. Terry Jones has certainly been getting his 15 minutes of fame.

And that thanks to an MSM and muslims who are keeping this story front and center.

Nevermind that what is really coming up Saturday is the 9th Anniversary of the war with Islam. Or that we should be remembering 3,000 dead.

Or that there is an important gathering to protest the dishonoring of their memory with the building of this monstrosity to Islamic supremicism.

No, instead they would rather talk about, and keep us talking about, 50 people burning 200 or so books. More than that end up in our nation's trash heaps every minute.

It's a once and done event. But it is keeping people from talking about the much more dangerous mosque.

Dangerous especially to muslims because it has galvinized Americans against Islamic encroachment like nothing else since 9/11.

It was uniting our opinion. Then suddenly the MSM started pushing the Koran burning which has proved to be very divisive.

So I say enough about the Koran burning. We're all being played by the media and the muslims to divide the resolve developing over the mosque issue.

Let Terry Jones burn his Korans. Or not. I'll even mail him the matches if he's a bit short. In the long run it is a flash in the pan (bad pun intended). Just like the burning of Beatles records was when Lennon was misquoted as saying the Beatles were more popular than Christ. It did nothing to stop the Beatles popularity. Nor will the Koran burning do anything to stop the march of Islam.

But that mosque will. It will either unite us against Islam or it will long stand as a monument to Islamic victory.

Do not let the media control what we should be discussing.

And what we should really be protesting and fighting over.
