The Presidency Too Much for one man? The excuses are getting more and more bizarre.
Update -- In comments Revere said she saw it in a supermarket (unless I misunderstood) so it's no hoax.
And coming hot off the India trip it's more than a little patronizing to that nation and in a very poor way. Not to mention just being over the top stooopid.
So whether it's meant to be Shiva or Vishnu or Krishna the (mis*)quote applies:
"Now I am become death, the destroyer of worlds"
Play it again, George
* - many scholars contend now that Oppenheimer actually misquoted here. It was not Vishnu who said this but Krishna and the quote might more correctly be translated as "Now I am become Time the Destroyer of worlds" although for our purposes the misquote fits better.
Hey, never let it be said I let Truth get in the way. . .

I couldn't believe it when I saw this today either. NEWSWEEK has completely lost all claim to be a valid purveyor of news and should reclassify itself as a far-left opinion journal.
Got a general question: I now have a bumpersticker that is a satire of the popular "COEXIST" one but with the Islamic moon as a bomb-belted shahid holding a detonator while the other symbols cower in terror. My qustion is, what should I do first if I am accused of "hate speech" for posting what is essentially a cartoon criticizing Islam.
Because if anyone is stupid enough to try it, I want to be able to make them SQUIRM long, hard and publically.
From Wiki:
Shiva (pronounced /ˈʃiːvə/; Sanskrit: शिव Śiva, meaning "auspicious one";) is a major Hindu deity, and the Destroyer or transformer of the Trimurti, the Hindu Trinity of the primary aspects of the divine.[2] In the Shaiva tradition of Hinduism, Shiva is seen as the Supreme God. In the Smarta tradition, he is regarded as one of the five primary forms of God.[3]
What next?
Obama: He Created the Heavens And The Earth, Can We Really Ask Him To Settle Our Economic Problems Too?
I can see why some people thought it might be a hoax. Unfortunately I found it in the supermarket!
Well then, what we must need is a group of elites like China has, with no term limits.
RRA, I wouldn't worry about what to say, I'd wear a stab proof shirt if I were you, cause that's what you'll likely be dealing with. I do admire your hutzpah, though!
OK, why does everyone play that damn Hare Krishna song from that album when it also has "Waiting For You All" on it? No videos of that?
Yes, it's definitely no hoax and is on the newstands. I just picked it up, shook my head, and put it back on the stand. You just can't make this stuff up anymore.
Thanks AR. I'm not worried about stabbings, but if there are any muslims lurking here in senior housing I might get whacked by a cane...
Revere -- There's a dandy live version from the same concert. I just posted it for you. Enjoy.
(sorry, My Sweet Lord just worked better with this post than something like Thanks for the Pepperoni :)
Love that album.
RRA, You do know what i was referring to? I don't know what site I read it on, but in MN, I think it was, a vet was stabbed by a Somali mooslum supposedly over a bumper sticker on his car criticizing pisslam. Of course, it did not make the msm, because they're priveledged thugs. Just fyi. You can never predict how these animals will act. Wait, I take that back, you can predict it, that is why I'm worried about your bumper sticker.
In Slavic mythology, Šiwa or Šiva, Shiva, Živa or Sieba, was the goddess of fertility and love. She was worshiped throughout
what is now Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Germany (and especially the Elbe (Labe) river valley) before Christianity expanded into the area. Her name means "living, being, existing." Sieba is married to Siebog, the male god of love and fertility.
So now this is why I laugh when many assume I am Hindu
I get Newsweek for free -- one of those perks for educators.
I've got my copy right here.
Madness.
Insanity.
Disgusting.
I can't laugh unless I laugh the laugh of the lunatic.
**sigh**
Don't worry they are soon about to be corrected...

AR -- it was on ATLAS, then the guy's wife commented that the story would be on Act for America this week, but I couldn't find it there.
Very little danger of that sort of assault around here, more likely some libtard complaining about it.
Combines nicely with the Soros story, doesn't it.
Obama not being able to "get things done", I mean.
