Does this one break through the veil put on your enjoyment of music?

Yes.

Not much does break through. **sigh**

Yep.

So yesterday I was reading Proust's "Swann's Way" and there is a "scene" where Swann falls in love with a piece of music called Sonate de Vinteuil. So, i looked up the piece on google to find it and listen to it. Turns out there is no such Sonata, and there was no composer Vinteuil. Instead, it is believed he is a composite of Debussey and Faure.

This music was composed for a film of Proust's Time Regained. It is good. It captures the scene from Swann's Way, pretty well, but to me it sounds nothing like Debussey or Faure.
