Mom of Military Recruitment Center Bomb Plot Suspect Said She Tried to Stop Him From Converting to Islam
When have we ever seen the Muslim parent react this way, when their kid was busted for trying to kill Americans?

WOODLAWN, Md. – A woman who identified herself as the mother of a man arrested for attempting to bomb a military recruiting center in Maryland says she tried to persuade her son not to convert to Islam.
The woman spoke to The Associated Press at the Baltimore-area home where Antonio Martinez reportedly lived. She said she was his mother but would not give her name.
The woman said Thursday that she’s a “devout American” and is upset and embarrassed over her son’s actions.

I'd personally be a bit more than upset and embarrassed if my son did something like that.
"Martinez" is, of course, a Hispanic name. Young Mr. Martinez got himself married to a young "lady" whose last name is "Ismail". Next thing Mom knows, Antonio has become "Muhammad Hussain" and is now in the slammer and facing what would have been the best years of his life behind bars. Betcha Mama Martinez is MUY upset and embarrassed and if she could get her hands on her daughter-in-law, Ms. Ismail would shortly be known as "Baldy". Can't say I blame her. Issy's fellow students at Pine Manor College are telling everyone how sweet and innocent she is, while "Hussain" insists she backed him 100% in his jihad attept.
Apparently the marry-me-honey-and-convert-to-Islam ploy runs both ways.
