Google Search Addition?

I just noticed something while doing a Google search via Mozilla Firefox.

In the left sidebar, I see "Location." Under that label, I see the first word of my street name, followed by my state. Just below those elements, I read "auto-detected."

Maybe I've been asleep or something, but I don't recall seeing those items in my Google-Firefox sidebar before.

I noticed that change about two months ago.
Today, I'm noticing adverts that relate to interests which would make sense based on browsing cookies . . .on another computer in this house. . .not this one. Its getting really creepy.

Another creepy thing popped up today. I made an appt. with an allergist for my son. This office prefers to have health history and record release forms prepared online to save time at the office on the day of the appt. Ok, that sounded reasonable, however, it quickly turned sour.

The forms couldn't be completed without reading and accepting the terms and conditions of the Intuit health service providing the forms.

I can't tell you how many times in the past I simply scrolled through quickly on the terms and conditions panels or skipped them altogether.

This time as I scrolled, I caught what appeared to be a claim for possession of all information provided in those forms:
"Client hereby grants to Intuit a worldwide, non-exclusive, fully paid-up license to use, copy, modify, enhance, display, publish, distribute, create derivative works of and otherwise use the Content in any manner reasonably necessary to perform the Services...owns or all right, title and interest in and to the Content or has a license granting it the rights necessary to permit it to grant the foregoing license."
Um, in a word, NO. I do not grant any such license.

I called the physician to notify them I would not under any circumstances provide my own or my family member's personal health information to a third party who made potentially predatory claims. No surprise on their end. They'll send the forms in the mail.
With ObamaCare in the mix, I dont' trust any of this, not one little bit.

Google does any evil they can dream up.

They are fucking geniuses at it, and one day, the bargain they are going to make all of us, and most everyone will accept is, they will be able to make us all geniuses.

Just you watch.

As i said before if you want to 'escape' use :Google encrypted'
No more 'location' also don't forget to tell your google account not to keep any history of your searches (need to login).
