Remember: They Said The Muslim Brotherhood Wouldn't Take Over
But, it has. We predicted it. Robert Spencer predicted it. Anyone who knew anything about Islam, or about Egyptian Society predicted it.
But, the people who run our country, and the "Moderate Muslims" said it wouldn't happen.

They even were planning to release the talban prisoners at Gitmo since Sheik Yusuf al-Qaradawi told them it would work, if not for a few Congress mebers they would have walked.
Wake up and smell the coffee.
It's moral cowardice.
It's just as predictable the at the first CONVENIENT OPPORTUNITY (as in the day Israel attacks Iran's nuke program)Egypt will default on the peace treaty. Every dollar we send to Egypt is a dollar we spend to destroy one of our most valuable allies.
Every minute of aid to the Syrian rebels is a minute we aid the Islamists. We have no interest in whether it's Assad or the Ikwhan.
Just as clearly as the Ikwhan states their position and goals we have to make it clear we are implacably opposed to those kinds of goals.
It is as impossible for us to find peace with those goals as it is for HAMAS to accept Israel.
That should be understood in Washington and Cairo, and Damascus, Mecca, and Riyadh, Tunis and Saana, Islamabad, and Karachi, and in the capital of Israel:

I no longer believe that these people didn't know exactly what would happen.
Hell, I'm an amateur about Islam. I won't say that others who accurately predicted the outcome are amateurs.
But I am -- as far as career goes, anyway.
And I KNEW the outcome as well.
So, I declare that these people who said that Egypt wouldn't go to the Muslim Brotherhood FULL WELL KNEW what would happen.
I condemn them. Categorically. Mercilessly.
They are bull shitters. Period.
And they're going to bring down horror upon all our heads -- given enough time.
