The president of the USA should be demanding arrests, penalties and repayments, reparations, apologies and pointing a long arm at the nations whose people clearly cannot stand OUR FREEDOMS.
Congress should seal off all aid and demand repayment of loans from Egypt. We should have no relations with Libya. I mean, who cares? The only thing of value to the USA in history in Libya was a place called Wheelus.
The only thing of value to the USA in Egypt is the Peace Treaty they just can’;t stand to stand by and absolutely WILL trash.
What occurred yesterday in BOTH Egypt and Libya shades all to close to Teheran in 1979. In Cairo the embassy was empty.

It looked like daylight. Was it empty because it was 9/11? Is a US Embassy in the ME unsafe on that anniversary?
The idea that the so called Arab Spring favors the beliefs of truly free people, people who hold the Bill of Rights as a non removable part of a democracy, and will therefore one day be to our benefit, is MORE STUPID than any idea I have ever heard. More stupid than the Domino Theory. More stupid than appeasement.

Do we have to authorize US Marines to use deadly force at our ME Embassies? What kind of lethal force should we have available for them to defend against the ENTIRE PEOPLE OF A NATION?
Like Pakistan, it should be OBVIOUS that the will of the peoples of these nations is harmful to the way of life of the American people, where freedom of speech will ultimately ALWAYS MEAN BLASPHEMY AND INSULT. While we might regret the insult as a people, we will defend any asshole’s right to be insulting, because one day we might be that asshole.
