All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.

The Words Of Marco Polo
The militant Muslim is the person who beheads the infidel, while the moderate Muslim holds the feet of the victim. - Marco Polo (c.1254 – January 8-9, 1324)
Marco Polo certainly had many negative things to say against Islam. He said Islam excused rape and murder, and he said that criminals often converted to Islam because it made their terrible behavior permissible.
And, I believe Marco Polo may have agreed with the above quote.
However, I have my doubts this is an exact quote from Marco Polo, because the whole idea of dividing populations up by the concept of "militant" vs. "moderate" is born of Political Correctness.
Back in those times, people tended to think of the Tribe as having something like one mind.

Obviously he was an Islamophobe who had little contact except with a tiny minority of extremists, and was a bitter clinger w rgd to the lost crusades.

Here is a good piece on Marco Polo and Islam:

The quote is spot on.
Anyone who could deal with Bayan of the Baarin has my attention.
