Culturism does NOT endorse Cultural Relativism

Culturism: The philosophy and science that acknowledges, promotes, and defends traditional majority cultures.

Some people hesitate to use and spread the words ‘culturist’ and ‘culturism,’ because they think it implies cultural relativism.  “If culturism is the philosophy that protects, promotes and defends traditional majority cultures,” they ask, “do western culturists need to celebrate Pakistani culture in Pakistan?”  The answer is an emphatic “NO!”  This article will explain why.
As a science, culturism is normative.  That is, it describes reality without adding a value judgment. Scientific culturism does not argue that it is either good or evil that traditional majority cultures protect, promote, and defend their traditional majority cultures.  It is just a factual observation: All nations are, and all tribes have always been, culturist.
Pakistan practices culturism.  We say this without celebrating it or denigrating it.  Think of physics.  England’s Sir Isaac Newton discovered gravity.  Objects with mass attract objects with mass.  To note this is not to celebrate gravity.  To note that Pakistan is culturist is not to celebrate it.  The observation simply confirms that fact that all non-western nations are (as we used to be) culturist.
What does follow from this scientific culturist observation, however, is that it is unnatural for the West to be the only place in the history of the world where culturism is not practiced.
And, in truth, the question we should ask is not, “will Pakistan be culturist if we accept culturism as a political norm?”  It is a scientific culturist fact that Pakistan will be culturist regardless of whatever we say (same for China, Mexico, etc).  The only meaningful question is “Will the West go back to being culturist or stay multiculturalist?”
“But morally,” our skeptic might continue, “doesn’t acknowledging culturism as norm mean that Pakistan’s culturist policies are normative?  Are correct? Within Pakistan’s borders?”

As you know, from our previous conversations on this subject, I have no reticence about saying, Pakistan is evil in it's approach to many issues. It enslaves human being, forcing them to pass their lives with little choice in how they live, murdering people for making choices.

This is just wrong.

Whether we as a nation choose to do something about it is up to us.

Whether we choose to do something about it does not make Pakistani culture any less evil. It is as evil as it is, and that is it is tremendously evil.

You have a problem with saying such a thing. I do not.

I still admire your work, the body of your thought. And, I'm glad you're doing what you're doing.

Pastorius, The last sentence of the article is :

"I am western (not a 'citizen of the world'), and would rather die than submit to or live under Islam's horrible, sexist, anti-gay, anti-western, theocratic, dogmatic, nightmare of a system."

Is that not enough of a denunciation? Did you read this? Would you have worded it more strongly?

And please tell me, if it is universally obvious that Western culture is better, why don't Pakistani immigrants to western nations assimilate?

If you believe that all people agree with western values, why hasn't Afghanistan become progressive?

I need you to explain these actual factual truths before I accept your globalist liberal premise that cultural diversity doesn't actually exist.

HIPPIE!! (lol)

Obviously, it is not the case that all people agree with Western values.

But no one wants to have that which is his taken away from him.

And that includes his will, or his right to be what he is in his conscience.

Mostly I'm thinking of women, who are the real victims here.

I know the comment was for Pasto but I can't help myself :P

In Saudi Arabia most all Imams and a lot of the Saudi schools teach that the earth is flat. Its because that's what the Quran teaches them. The mufti of Mecca once said that anyone who teaches that the earth is not flat is a liar and should be punished.

Do they believe such things because it is up for debate whether the earth is round or not? No they believe these things and refuse to accept scientific facts because they are a bunch of morons!

Likewise, when Pakistanis, Afghanis, and other Muslims do not want to assimilate and accept the Western culture as superior to theirs doesn't make the fact that the Western culture is superior any less true. Its because those idiots are just to barbaric to realize that the Western culture is better than their piece of sh*t values and customs.

It IS universally obvious that the Western culture is better than the rest. Just like it is obvious that the earth is round. Animals and barbarians are the only ones who can't seem to understand these truths.

However, unlike the round earth fact, Western culture CAN change for the worse if not safeguarded against erosion.

From the article that Pasto linked to (hilarious, BTW):

I’ve been around the world and it sucks. If two thirds of it died in an earthquake, I would yawn so loud, it would cause another earthquake. FTW.

I’m not xenophobic. I’m a Western Chauvinist. I know other cultures and I can tell you first-hand, the West is the best.

Yup. My sentiments exactly.
