Boehner about to ask for a short term debt increase?

GOP aides say House Speaker John Boehner will ask House Republicans to approve a short-term extension of the government’s ability to borrow to meet its bills.

This is the ONLY way to go. 

This is October 10th

In ONE WEEK Barack Obama will instruct Jack Lew to wreak havoc. Just as he did with the National Park Service, the Defense Dept and Burial and Insurance, etc.

If no agreement is to be made, Boehner has to try everything, and DOES have to be SEEN to have tried everything.

If this nation follows the path on payment of our responsibilities that we did on the shutdown, those in the executive will ensure the most damage to the populace is made so that blame can be placed on Americans who happen to be republican, so that THEIR definition of success is fulfilled.

That is HOW it can be observed to be unfolding.

If we go this route, as someone I know said recently, the nation will be ‘upside down’, and the untold unpredictable, unintended consequences, will be evil, even for the democrats.

Nothing will be the same, even if it seems like it will be, on the day the govt does not send out (full or any) checks to veterans, or to doctors who have performed services, or to Boeing, or General Dynamics, Lockheed, or retirees or the disabled.

We have already decided to put off the wood purchases (5 cords) we make now for next year (so it can be dry to burn for heat), and the tires for the truck, and the refrigerator. 

The day after the news of this event hits ….

Boehner is doing the right thing.

Obama’s response will tell us what he wants this nation to be.

We go one way or the other.
