This week my wife was informed in writing her doctor’s small private practice was acquired by a large (huge) tertiary care hospital, and that she MIGHT see people she knew there in the future. But maybe not. And the fees MIGHT be the same, but maybe not. They also DID NOT announce all the continuing Rx’s were now DISCONTINUED. However, as we found out, they are. 

The newspaper then displayed, that afternoon an ad showing the key patient facing employees, including the physician assistants were now part of the salaried employees of another hospital’s office/clinic group.

The ‘fate’ of her doctor is unknown.

No one doctor or 2 doctor practice unless an unusual one can survive the IT requirements Obamacare calls for.

Luckily Mrs. Epa’s  (Cadillac and therefore tax surcharged, according to Obamacare) health insurance cannot be altered until the end of next august.
