Is the Religion of Islam Necessary?

Last night while lying in bed I thought about the great western religions of this world.  I make a distinction between those religions in the West and those esoteric ones in the East.

The religions of the West – Judaism, Christianity and Islam – all believe that we are born with a soul that needs to be saved – the reason for many of the wars we have seen in Europe. “I have to save your soul our way or I’ll kill you”.

On the other hand, the esoteric religions of the East – like Buddhism, Shintoism, Hinduism - believe you are here to develop a soul.

But I digress.

What makes a religion great is what it contributes to the social and moral foundation of a culture. Take Judaism. It’s great contribution is the Ten Commandants - the foundation of the laws of Western Civilization.

Christianity gave us the Golden Rule – Love they neighbor as thy self. Taken together and practiced fully, we would have the utopia that the liberal left desperately wants but can’t seem to attain.

That brings us to Islam. What great social and moral foundation concept has it contributed? By it’s own admittance, Islam is just a comprehensive conception of what has came before and supposedly embracing all prior religions and prophets.

So I ask the question. Is the religion of Islam necessary or is it just a religious cult like many others in this world – albeit very violent - that hasn’t provided any social and moral foundation for our world culture?

Great question. And I think you are exactly correct...in thinking I can find no contribution to society or the world at all.

Not only no but Hell No! It cannot even be excused as a necessary evil. It is only evil. The only lesson Islam can teach the world: this is a presage of HELL. You want to spend eternity in hell with your BFF Satan? This is what it looks like. Enjoy.

It seems clear to me that the world would be a better place without Islam.

Show me just what Muhammad brought that was new and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached.

Islam, with its inherent evil force was needed to counterbalance the forces of goodness. Christ represented that goodness, purity, and light. Islam brought the counter force: evil, darkness, and hatred.

God vs. Satan
Christ vs. Mohammad
Good vs. evil
