I'll never understand why he uses female bassists. They just don't cut it. Probably to be lauded for his political correctness. I remember when I was in boot camp in 1975, my friend wrote me and said he saw Mahavishnu warm up Beck's band in Detroit. I about died.
I hate his finger-twiddling picking. It just doesn't have the awesome attack that a pick does.
