“Islamic State militants are cementing their hold on Ramadi – the Iraqi city they captured on Sunday, reports say.
Militants were going door-to-door looking for government sympathisers and throwing bodies in the nearby Euphrates river, residents were quoted as saying.
Thousands of Iranian-backed militiamen are gathering east of Ramadi ahead of a bid to retake the city. IS militants are reportedly heading towards them.
The United Nations has warned of a humanitarian crisis as thousands flee….”
All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.

The online journal "BackChannels"
provides excellent synopsis of geopolitical Islam:

Humanitarian crises? Islamic State is following through with the threat of Usama bin Ladin - he told us that he would bankrupt our economy in this fight. IS is bankrupting the economy of many nations now.
*Ignore the link title - this article addresses Islamic State and their goal of creating humanitarian crises.

The administration persistently claims "victories" on small scale, whilst on large scale our ability to set the geopolitical chessboard as we like it consists of a decreased option of diplomatic moves.
We have done this to ourselves, of course. Too many politicians with the intelligence of a pawn have been elevated to strategy knights. Hillary Clinton and John Kerry both come to mind. Throw in Susan Rice.
We have people who know diddly about geopolitical Islam confronting issues which they can scarcely understand when using a Western lens. They have not created the current cluster but neither have they contributed to the securement of volatile societal rims.
