The Rights of a Free Citizen vs. The Rations of a Slave

Not long ago I heard a Leftist proclaim that the 2nd Amendment should be eliminated and replaced with:

1) A right to affordable housing,

2) A right to affordable health care,

3) A right to a living wage,

4) Etc, you know the details.

 Then a wiser man than me said,

 "You are not demanding the rights of a free citizen... you are demanding the rations of a slave!
