When he said they sat sideways, she should have asked him what position they were in BEFORE that.
The first reports I read/watched regarding the Orlando massacre were centered around patrons texting family/acquaintances that they were seeking shelter in the restroom. My first thoughts were...volunteer targets. Typical restrooms do not have multiple exits/entries - so in that situation serve as temporary coffins.
