The former was a tyranny of archons held by families which used events to exchange power involuntarily. Sparta tired of this and decided to a final exchange in their favor, engineered by them and the installation of a final regime favorable to them, and supported at all costs by them.
This took place but ended instead in a love triangle in which jealousy, envy and power exploded over the rule. Murders were committed at the top and the people of Athens more or less took matters into their own hands, and it became a democracy completely out of control of Sparta. So Sparta trying to influence a rival so that their own power and stability was enhanced, instead created the opposite situation. And so now to the next humorous unintended consequence of trying to influence the 'other' power in one's favor.

To make a long story short (I know, it's WaPo, so we have to wonder if it's as accurate as INFOWARS or DEBKA, or maybe they jumped to assumptions to reinforce their inner compulsions) ... the assertion is that the IVAN did in fact break into the DNC, but what they REALLY wanted was oppo research on Trump.
After all, the DNC probably had more than they did, and it was already done and paid for in terms of being the most damaging. Obviously if this is true, they were concerned Trump would WIN. Or maybe they were looking for a way to influence the new regime in their favor via various threats.
You connect the dots. Any way you want.
What they found, of course, was a corrupt, from the inside out, Democratic Party conspiring to rip the America people.
A GIFT to discredit the HEART of the American ideal.
So sometimes, if true, it pays to MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS.

At least that is the way I analyze the dots.
Donald and Russia are not a two-headed Hydra and that is how the media is swishing their paint brush. Collusion.
Regardless, the truth is a beautiful thing and the DNC has a black heart.
Hillary is playing quite a game here, attempting to thwart Trumps accession to power. (Make no mistake, this is the Clinton machine at work, even in the CIA statement).
Trump had said he wasn't going to prosecute HIllary.
I no longer believe that.
She bought her trip to prison.
I'm so fed up with all this dirt, I'm not even watching Judge Jeanine ... The campaign was exhausting, and now this ... I'm too old for all this crap. Had Comney done his job she would be in jail already.
What will happen on the 19th (other than I will become a year older?) Will the psychos in Congress dare overturn the election? Should that be the case, I will sell the house and move anywhere in Africa.
Also, Hannity gave voice to my greatest fear the other night when he said "they will take out Trump."
He is too much of a threat to everybody except those of us who still foolishly have hope.
