MARVEL says emphasis on diversity alienated readers
Marvel’s vice president of sales has blamed declining comic-book sales on the studio’s efforts to increase diversity and female characters, saying that readers “were turning their noses up” at diversity and “didn’t want female characters out there”.
Over recent years, Marvel has made efforts to include more diverse and more female characters, introducing new iterations of fan favourites including a female Thor; Riri Williams, a black teenager who took over the Iron Man storyline as Ironheart; Miles Morales, a biracial Spider-Man and Kamala Khan, a Muslim teenage girl who is the current Ms Marvel.
But speaking at the Marvel retailer summit about the studio’s falling comic sales since October, David Gabriel told ICv2 that retailers had told him that fans were sticking to old favourites.
“What we heard was that people didn’t want any more diversity,” he said. “They didn’t want female characters out there. That’s what we heard, whether we believe that or not.”A few thoughts:
1) Diversity for diversity's sake is BULLSHIT.
2) Create NEW characters. Don't take the old characters and suddenly make them female or black. Jesus. Be fucking creative. It's your fucking job. It's your ONLY job, dumbfucks.
3) Stop phrasing your faults in such a way as to make it seem like we the readers are at fault.
4) No one wants a Muslim superhero. The whole premise of superhero stories is that a person will sacrifice himself to save humanity at large. Muslims will only sacrifice themselves to kill non-Muslims. Everyone knows this. The evidence hits us every day. Stop bullshitting yourselves and us in the process.

You can tell this is progressive madness because progressives had zero previous interest in having a Christian or Jewish Superhero character. I cannot recall any references by any of their other portfolio characters in any Christian doctrine or teaching let alone on any explicit feature of Christian culture.
Indeed, at least for the present, progressives have made common cause with Muslims with the common goal to suppress as much of what remains of the Christian culture in western society. Even the issue of race is a proxy, where "white" is a proxy for Christian and "of-color" is a proxy for people who are not Christian. Thus everyone who is not "white" is presumed to either be progressive, allied with progressives, or a person who is dependent upon the progressive welfare state and thus have prostituted their affiliation.
Modern progressives are in fact the perfect "useful idiots" with respect to Islam, a word that means "submit". Progressives fully expect to always remain in power by the sheer amount of light, wisdom and moral authority they think that progressivism imparts. Little do they recognize the extent to which Muslims view themselves as being the rightful rulers of the entire world, and who fully expect to slowly extent their power over all humanity, come hell or high water (so to speak). Little do progressives realize that for the sake of expediency Muslims are willing to grovel, make nice and offer their support. But the instant that Muslims gain the upper hand, that Muslims will be unbelievably ruthless and vicious to secure their power and to send progressives to their rightful place in hell, at least as Muslims view it.
