How Does This Happen? Multiple Sailors MISSING and INJURED After USS McCain Collides With Massive Tanker

Multiple Sailors MISSING and INJURED After USS McCain Collides With Massive Tanker

A US Navy guided-missile destroyer collided with a merchant ship east of Singapore early Monday, the Navy’s 7th Fleet said in a statement.
The USS John S. McCain collided with the merchant vessel Alnic MC while the destroyer was making its way to a port visit in Singapore, the Navy said. Search and rescue efforts are under way, the statement said.
So far, there are currently 10 sailors missing and five are injured, according to the Navy. The ship is reportedly sailing under its own power and headed to port.
Initial reports indicate the US ship sustained damage to its aft port side, the Navy said, but it did not give information on the status of the merchant vessel.
Just two months ago there was another mysterious collision involving a U.S. Navy Vessel:
Multiple U.S. and Japanese investigations are under way into how the guided missile destroyer USS Fitzgerald and the much larger ACX Crystal container ship collided in clear weather south of Tokyo Bay in the early hours of June 17.
In the first detailed account from one of those directly involved, the cargo ship's captain said the ACX Crystal had signaled with flashing lights after the Fitzgerald "suddenly" steamed on to a course to cross its path.
The container ship steered hard to starboard (right) to avoid the warship, but hit the Fitzgerald 10 minutes later at 1:30 a.m., according to a copy of Captain Ronald Advincula's report to Japanese ship owner Dainichi Investment Corporation that was seen by Reuters.
The U.S. Navy declined to comment and Reuters was not able to independently verify the account.
The collision tore a gash below the Fitzgerald's waterline, killing seven sailors in what was the greatest loss of life on a U.S. Navy vessel since the USS Cole was bombed in Yemen's Aden harbor in 2000.
WTF?

Hina Alvi, a satellite expert (and whose mother, Soraiya Begum is Bangladesh's satellite expert) is married to one of the Awan brothers and was one of the group involved in the Congressional IT scandal. Now what if the ships are reliant on technology such as GPS which can be hacked? SUPARCO satellites -- tech that's been stolen from NASA and given to other nations...

From notes taken on George Webb's investigative video series:
===>"Now let's talk about satellites. Let's talk about how we know Hina is really a satellite girl
So she works for SUPARCO which is directly connected with the space program in both Bangladesh, and through Suriya Begum, which is her mother, and also Pakistan
So Suraiya Begum's her mother--she's a satellite expert in Bangladesh Okay.
She's really a plant by a Pakistani ISI in Bangladesh to dominate the country of Bangladesh, to perfect satellite surveillance systems in Bangladesh
Well under the cover of looking at natural disasters
So that she can get USAID flooding for the next flood but actually they're perfecting a satellite surveillance system in Bangladesh
That is going to be resold time and time again as the NADRA system in Pakistan"<===
&
===>"
so then looking at The 2 wives and one of them's Hina Alvi, her mother is Suraiya Begum and then this is Nataliia Sova well I started looking at Hina Alvi and she's got ties to satellite companies as well the SUPARCO does satellite seminars and sells satellite technology to OPEC nations as a matter of fact not just OPEC nations but nations all around the world for surveillance as well as for looking for oil and gas and that sort of thing and minerals. so Just seem like a lot of odd Connections there to the satellite and technology industry."<===

My thoughts ran along the same line when I read this last night. Are our communications systems compromised shipboard and this is a need to know scenario - i.e. requiring a clearance.

As a Navy gal, one of the four courses at DCO school in Pensacola was Naval Sea Power. Whoever controls the sea lanes controls the world. Knock out the submarine community? We lose the straits and ability to apply Choke Point theory.

One more incident, and I think we have a pattern of some sort. Too early to speculate.

There is definitely a pattern since February.

A compromised communication system makes sense.

So does a Muslim mole.

So does insubordination.

So many possibilities, so little time. Off to work I go! Gotta pay the bills.

Tip of the Iceberg article @ DailyCaller:
Dodgy $120K Equipment Write Off At The Center Of House IT Scandal

A chief of staff of Democratic Rep. Yvette Clarke quietly agreed in early 2016 to sign away a $120,000 missing electronics problem on behalf of two former IT aides now suspected of stealing equipment from Congress, The Daily Caller News Foundation has learned.

The $120,000 figure amounts to about a tenth of the office’s annual budget, or enough to hire four legislative assistants to handle the concerns of constituents in her New York district. The missing equipment tied to Clarke’s office included many iPhones and iPads, the official told TheDCNF. At $800 each, the written-off sum would be enough for 150 items in an office that, according to payroll records, only has 16 employees.

The missing $120,000 covers only Clarke’s office. Imran and his relatives worked for more than 40 current House members when they were banned from the House network in February, and have together worked for dozens more in past years. NOT ALL OF THE OFFICES' BOOKS HAVE BEEN AUDITED FOR SIMILAR PATTERNS.

Separately, the brothers are suspected to have orchestrated a long-running fraud scheme in which the office would purchase equipment in a way that avoided tracking by central House-wide administrators. They’re suspected of working with an employee of CDW Government Inc. — one of the Hill’s largest technology providers — to alter invoices in order to avoid tracking. The result would be that no one outside the office would notice if the equipment disappeared, and investigators think the goal of the scheme was to remove and sell the equipment outside of Congress.

Salary records show Abid’s employment with Clarke ended in September, some six months after the discrepancy was acknowledged in the write-off and the same month Clarke’s office learned of the impending financial review.

Since assuming office in 2007, the New York Democrat’s IT has been handled by, at various times, Imran, Hina, and most recently Abid.Imran and his wife Hina were indicted this month for ancillary crimes relating to frantically gathering money to wire to Pakistan and attempting to leave the country, after learning that investigators were looking at the other behaviors.

They began liquidating assets in earnest not long after that September call to their employers, real estate records show. The current charges serve to keep Imran in the country by taking his passport, while the main case is built in earnest. Hina is already in Pakistan with some of the proceeds and could become a fugitive if she misses her arraignment.

CUT/PASTE of comment from another board:

===>"I am wondering if traditional tactics, techniques, and procedures have been abandoned for technology. It can breed complacency. Until just recently, the Navy stopped teaching celestial navigation to its officer 20 years ago. With GPS the Navy thought it wasn't needed. Air Force navigators do not learn celestial navigation anymore. We are reliant on this technology, but what is the backup if it fails?"<===
