Chain of custody? The chain of custody is thus:
If it cannot be left on a desk in plain view, it requires a discernible chain of custody.
I once received an alpha precedence list of Pentagon military chain of command. It should never have been in my possession and should never have been distributed to me. I destroyed it. And I was not a college professor, but a Naval officer. It was information that could have caused great harm in the wrong hands.
