Senate Intel Chairman Burr Defends Trump – Slams John Brennan For Claiming Trump ‘Colluded With Russia’

Looks like weathervane pol picked up on shift in winds. Make no mistake Burr is #NeverTrump all the way. But reelection is always the first priority.
Devin Nunes deserves ALL the credit here. Burr, McConnell, and Ryan would have let Dems hang Trump.
And don't give McConnell credit for holding the Senate over. His primary aim is to prevent Trump from making recess appointments. NOT to help GOP in November. Trump could fire and replace Sessions if the Senate went out on campaign trail. McConnell will not let that happen. HE is POS all the way.
I give McConnell credit for holding the line on the Garland SCOTUS nomination. I think Session, Rosenstein, and Mueller all get sacked after the mid-term election.
