I love that tone from the Fender Thinline Telecaster.

..... I remember back in my first failed foray to learn to play the guitar, back in the late 70s, even though I never could have afforded one, I would ride my bike down to Brook Mays and sample all the guitars.
And even though it wasn't considered the coolest model in there, I always loved the tone of the telecasters one a single pickup.
I've played them but never owned one. Love the Tele!
