Explosive Censored Presidential Debate Footage Found!

Most people thought the Presidential debates a great success.  Those on the right celebrated Mitt Romney’s victory.  And, those on the left praised the substantive nature of the debate.  But, I found the debate suspicious and disturbing.
Was it really possible that, in the sole debate entirely dedicated to domestic policy, the topic of immigration did not come up once?  Is that possible?  I thought not. And, so I began a search, at my place of employment, for the censored debate footage that I suspected existed.
I mean, this debate focused on jobs.  And the presence of over 15 million illegal aliens means that a very significant number of Americans have been displaced from the job market.  Though he would never say so, President Obama should be especially for reducing immigration, since Latino immigrants largely take African – Americans’ entry-level jobs.
And, maybe it is just me, but I thought terrorism would be mentioned in the domestic policy debate.  After the Fort Hood terrorist attach and our freedom of speech being denounced this 9/11, I thought domestic terror policy and Islamic immigration might have come up once.  This total omission did not make sense to me either.
Remarkably, It only took me a day of snooping around after work to find the missing footage.  I am not sure if it got spliced out from the original debate or if the networks simply aired a different debate than the one that happened.  But, the authorities clearly thought that the censored footage I found was far too explosive for the general public.
In the missing footage, Romney starts off by saying he wishes to fence off our border with Mexico.  He also says that he would also halt Islamic immigration.  Obama repeatedly calls this racist.  And, Romney shows himself a patriot by not relenting.  But, I need not describe this footage any further, as you can watch it for yourself, here:

When you are done watching this censored footage, please distribute it.  Repost this introduction.  It is imperative that Americans know of this horrific and unprecedented censorship.  If enough people learn of this unforgivable manipulation, perhaps in future debates the authorities discussion of the vital topics of immigration and the threat of Islamic jihad to be aired.

Yesterday's Romney Rally In Northern Virginia

Mr. AOW and I attended the event yesterday afternoon at EIT in Sterling, Virginia.

If you look very closely around time marker :52, you can see me standing at the table in the left-rear background and buying some anti-Obama buttons. There is a tall young man wearing a red skullcap behind me and crossing from side to side.

Romney made several excellent statements, many of which all of us have heard before. However, there was no "magic in the air."

I can also think of three things that could have been done to make the rally more effective; after all, I've produced a lot of pageants during my 40 years of teaching.

Flaws:

(1) Should have been playing different music during the waiting time and to preface Romney's "grand entrance." The music was mostly songs from The Supremes.  Strange choice, and I'm not sure how that music was supposed to relate to Romney's campaign.

(2) Seating arrangements were pathetic! My husband, a disabled veteran, and others who were less disabled or unable to stand for two hours, had to sit in the back of the room right in front of the raised press platform. No way could anyone sitting at the back of the room see a thing on the stage!

(3) I realize that the turnout was much greater than expected. Still, those assisting with the crowd were not well prepared and didn't really know what to do.  Very poorly coached!  In fact, we got all the way through security up close to the entrance in the back of the facility when, lo and behold, a flight of steps loomed before us! How could these people working for a Presidential candidate's campaign have allowed Mr. AOW, a man confined to a wheelchair, to have waited so long in a snaking line and to have gotten so far in the admissions process and not automatically have rerouted him to the front entrance where the handicapped were supposed to enter? None of the assistants running around in that big parking lot and supposedly directing the crowd knew what to do with regard to getting my husband inside, nor could they find someone who did know.  They did manage to distribute a few bottles of water.  That's about it.

(4) We had few offers for help with the wheelchair, particularly from those working the campaign stop.  The man of the most help to us was a Vietnam veteran behind us in the line.  He was going to carry Mr. AOW up that flight of stairs.  Finally, the Secret Service intervened, and one of the agents pushed him around to the front entrance.

(5) Should have begun the program with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Clearly, Romney needs a better production manager for his campaign tours!

Some of the best moments at this event came afterwards when, FINALLY, one of the Romney workers offered to bring Mr. AOW outside for me to the side parking lot....

I went to get the car, parked quite far away (The Romney bus had blocked all the handicapped parking spaces!) and made a stop at the table that I mentioned at the beginning of this post.

While at the table I struck up a conversation with the young man in the skull cap ("B). Fascinating conversation with such a polite and considerate young man!

He hasn't yet decided for whom to vote and is doing his own research.

I know that "B" and I do not have much in common with regard to politics. He's on the Left and, as all know here, I'm on the Right.

But, hey, that's okay.

B is not a lemming; that is, he doesn't vote along party lines.

I continued the conversation as long as I could before going to fetch Mr. AOW. I wish that B and I could have spoken longer.

Romney Versus Gingrich On Jihad And Sharia

From Big Peace, Andrew Bostom comes down on the side of Gingrich as the candidate who recognizes the threat of Islam. both the overt and the covert threat:
...Gingrich’s unflinching portrayal of the existential threat Sharia represents—whether or not this totalitarian system is imposed by violent, or non-violent means—was accompanied by a clarion call for concrete measures to oppose any Sharia encroachment on the U.S. legal code....

Obama's Foreign Policy Mistakes

I'm not a great fan of Mitt Romney. But check out the first paragraph of his opinion piece in the July 6, 2010 edition of the WaPo:
Given President Obama's glaring domestic policy missteps, it is understandable that the public has largely been blinded to his foreign policy failings. In fact, these may have been even more damaging to America's future. He fought to reinstate Honduras's pro-Chávez president while stalling Colombia's favored-trade status. He castigated Israel at the United Nations but was silent about Hamas having launched 7,000 rockets from the Gaza Strip. His policy of "engagement" with rogue nations has been met with North Korean nuclear tests, missile launches and the sinking of a South Korean naval vessel, while Iran has accelerated its nuclear program, funded terrorists and armed Hezbollah with long-range missiles. He acceded to Russia's No. 1 foreign policy objective, the abandonment of our Europe-based missile defense program, and obtained nothing whatsoever in return.
Spot on, in my view. Damning, in fact.

The next paragraph reads as follows as Romney goes on to discuss BHO's worst foreign-policy mistake:
Despite all of this, the president's New Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (New-START) with Russia could be his worst foreign policy mistake yet. The treaty as submitted to the Senate should not be ratified....

[...]

By all indications, the Obama administration has been badly out-negotiated....

Phares Endorses Romney, Stresses Preparedness

Walid Phares has endorsed Mitt Romney for president in a powerful statement released today on his blog and in Human Events. Phares has been quite proactive in this campaign, sending emails and copies of his books to the candidates of both parties. This is not an act of hubris but an acceptance of responsibility by an expert who knows his subject thoroughly. Phares' work has always been distinctive for combining devastatingly incisive analysis of Islamist aims and Western vulnerabilities with a firm, encouraging optimism that the malignant dream of the caliphate can yet be defeated by Western Civilization, but this article sets out the implications of the choices between the candidates with a starkness and urgency I have never read before even in his work. Phares has predicted developments in the years prior to and following 9/11 with literally stunning accuracy and his warnings about what the U.S. president will face in his/her next two terms and exactly what are the stakes:
The stakes are much higher than the sweet but irrelevant American usual
personality debate. I want to know if the candidates are strong willed, smart,
educated about the world, informed about the threat, can define it, can identify
it, can fight it, are not duped by their bureaucracy, cannot be influenced by
foreign regimes, have the right advisors, can run an economy while commanding a
war and still see the threats as they handle daily crisis and take drastic
measures as the hard times are approaching. I want to know if the candidates are
very specific when they inform their public about the menace. Yes, it is indeed
a vital function of national security that we need to insure for the next few
years, so that all other issues can be addressed thoroughly. In short I don’t
want to see the fall of Constantinople being repeated on these shores in the
next decade or two. Humanity will not recover from such a disaster.

I have been leaning towards Romney since Giuliani dropped out of the race. Any differences I have with him on "social issues" are irrelevant at this time. There is only one issue and I agree with Phares that Romney exhibits the most thorough undersanding of and resolution towards dealing with it. As Phares puts it, McCain senses the nature of the enemy but has not yet identified it. If he is the nominee we can only hope that he will successfully "catch up" in time to take the right actions. Romney sees the enemy clearly and does not flinch. That is what I want in my president in the coming dangerous years.
