It's not just American feminists who are totally unfeeling towards women in Islamic countries. Basically, it's the entire West.
I am posting those pictures recurrently and will go on doing so until somebody will finally take notice. The background story is here.
In August 2004, Katajun Amirpur, one of the obnoxious pet-Persians of the German media showed in the Süddeutsche Zeitung real pride in the "progress" her native country is undergoing with the article "A less cruel execution". The article waxes emphatically about the success of the "European-Iranian human rights dialog", namely (I am not kidding!) that a 16-year-old girl will not be stoned to death, but rather hanged. Her crime? Pre-marital sex. Amirpur oozes pride when she writes that "the official age of marriage [which is coupled with the age of hangability]... after delicate negotiations between reformers and conservatives, was raised from 9 to 10 years".
That is a woman raised and educated in Germany with a professorship from a German university and this is a moment when I have to work really hard on my firm belief that an attitude like that is a matter of culture, not race.
Let's not forget Fariba Tajani-Emamqoli and all the other women and girls tortured to death in Iran.

A civilization can be judged by how it treats its women.
And its Jews.
Good point.
A bone chilling reality of the evil called islam!
My stomach is in knots after reading the background of this horrific madness.
Why is this allowed???
"Iran is a signatory both to the International Convention on Human Rights and the Convention on the Rights of the Child."
A complete sham.
I don't sleep very well since I read it. Spread the word, all of you. Post and re-post those pictures. PLEASE!
I see, islam is peace ..
